Traveling to Mexico or somewhere warm with your pet?

If you’re planning a trip to Mexico with your dog or cat, please be aware that new import requirements have been issued by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health due to concerns about New World Screwworm (NWS), a serious parasite affecting animals in parts of Mexico and Central America.

Pets returning to Minnesota from Mexico may now require additional documentation, veterinary inspections, treatment records, and quarantine measures. Requirements can take time to complete, so it’s important to plan ahead before your trip.

Warmer weather is here, and cabin season officially kicks off this weekend! That means more time outdoors for our furry friends — and more exposure to mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks.

Now is the perfect time to stock up on your pet’s:
✔️ Heartworm prevention
✔️ Flea prevention
✔️ Tick prevention

Heartworm disease can be life-threatening and is spread by mosquitoes, while fleas and ticks can carry harmful diseases.

Summer schedules fill up fast — and so do ours! ☀️

To help you plan ahead, here’s a quick look at the days our clinic will be closed this summer. We know this time of year gets busy with vacations, sports, cabin weekends, and family plans, so we encourage you to schedule medication refills, food pickups and appointments in advance whenever possible.

🚨We are currently booking several months out for Annual appointments. So please call to book those right when you get your reminder.
