Does your dog hate Interceptor Plus? So does Lucky, but we have a trick for you! We all know that ICP has the best protection around (tapeworms, eewww!) but we have heard not all dogs find it tasty. Our Elanco rep told us to put it in the freezer, which I did for about 15 minutes. He spit it right out as usual. I coated it in canned food and peanut butter. Same result. This time I left the slimy peanut butter on it and set it in the freezer for about a half hour, when I offered it again he loved it!!!!! No additional coatings needed! Try it and Lucky and I hope you are successful! Rachel

Happy Tech week to all of our outstanding vet techs! We are thankful for the hard work and amazing care you provide for our patients!

We are starting our tech shout outs with Rachel! She has been with Wellhaven for 2 years. Rachel loves comforting pets when staying in hospital with us and educating clients about animal care. You may have met her dog wee, who likes to follow Rachel around the clinic and help her greet patients. Thank you Rachel for your dedication hard work!
