Join us in celebrating our amazing vet assistant, Izzy, who just had her pinning ceremony at DCTC!🌟

Izzy has worked so hard to get to this point, and now she’s just one final away from officially graduating school on Monday (we KNOW she’s going to crush it 💪). Next up? Passing the VTNE in the spring to officially become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)!

If you’ve ever had the privilege of meeting Izzy, you know her positivity and kindness are truly radiant. Her heart for animals is larger than life, and she inspires everyone around her.

Our Minnetonka + Minneapolis offices and The Bond Between Veterinary Center will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th for the holiday weekend.🍂

If you've been to our Vet Center or had the pleasure of speaking with us on the phone, chances are you've encountered Tracey, one of our amazing Care Coordinators! 🎉

Tracey has been with us for some time now, and her dedication to both new and familiar patients is nothing short of exceptional. Whether it’s calming a nervous pet, scheduling appointments, or answering all your questions with a smile, she’s always on top of it all. 🙌🐾

Not only is Tracey incredibly resourceful and efficient, but she also brings a sense of humor that keeps the whole team smiling—even on the busiest days! 😂💖

We are beyond grateful to have two incredible individuals on our team who go above and beyond every day—Ashley Holtan, our amazing Vet Tech, and Haeree Lang, our kind-hearted Vet Assistant.

Ashley’s skill, dedication, and compassionate care ensure that every animal who walks through our doors receives the best treatment possible. She works tirelessly, always with a smile and a heart full of empathy for every rescue and client. 🐾💖

Meet Brittany, Our Amazing Vet Assistant! ✨

Brittany is the heart and soul of our vet center, always bringing energy, compassion, and a whole lot of love to every pet she cares for! With a spunky personality and a deep passion for animals, she’s a key part of our team, making sure each patient receives the best care possible. 💖 Whether it's providing hands-on support during treatments or just giving a comforting pet, Brittany is always ready to go the extra mile.

Outside of work, Brittany’s home is a zoo (in the best way possible)! With 26 pets to care for, including 7 Chihuahuas, 8 cats, 5 hairless rats, 2 guinea pigs, and more, Brittany’s days are filled with the joy and chaos of her animal family. From cuddling with her adopted Sphynx cats to watching her rescued feral cat, Buck, come out of his shell, she’s always there for her pets with open arms and a huge heart. 🐾💕

Brittany’s love for animals doesn’t stop at her own pets—her enthusiasm for helping every animal who walks through our door is contagious. Her positive attitude and tireless work ethic make her an absolute gem, and we’re so grateful to have her on our team. 🩵

These amazing individuals work around the clock, literally at any moment, to ensure our animals receive urgent care and our fosters get the support they need during stressful and uncertain times. ⏰

Their roles are absolutely crucial to our mission, and we're forever grateful for their flexibility, quick thinking, and solution-oriented mindsets. Whether it's answering emergency calls late at night or providing guidance through tough situations, these three go above and beyond to make sure every animal gets the help they deserve.💓

Why we love them? Their calm under pressure, dedication, and ability to find solutions—no matter the situation—bring peace of mind to our fosters and ensure that every pet in our care gets timely, lifesaving attention.

Meet Dr. Alyssa Gohr (DVM), our brilliant veterinarian who brings her expertise and passion to every pet she cares for! From routine checkups to complex medical cases, Dr. Gohr is always ready to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends. 💉🐕

Her favorite part of the job? Watching pets transform after treatment! Whether it’s treating sarcoptic mange, managing thyroid conditions, removing cancer, or even treating seasonal allergies, Dr. Gohr finds joy in seeing pets “act like a puppy again” after they’ve responded to care. There's nothing more rewarding than watching a sick pet regain their energy and joy. 🐾💖

The most challenging part? Managing chronic diseases that can deeply impact a pet's quality of life, without a cure. Along with this comes the behind-the-scenes work—recordkeeping and constant communication—that can be overwhelming but is essential to providing the best care. 📋

When Dr. Gohr isn’t at the clinic, she’s recharging with her nightly dog walks—a non-negotiable part of her day. Without it, she admits to feeling less efficient and more irritable, so this sacred routine keeps her grounded and ready for anything. 🚶‍♀️🐶

Meet Natalia, our amazing Care Coordinator who holds it all together at the front desk! She not only answers phones and manages all the administrative details but also makes sure every animal that passes through gets plenty of love and attention. 🧡

When she's not caring for the animals here, she has her own crew at home! Natalia has two kitties and one ball python. 🐍

Elby, her first cat, is more like a dog in spirit—he loves walks, toys, and meeting new people. His story is touching: Elby was brought into the emergency clinic where Natalia worked, emaciated and needing help. He instantly bonded with her, and she knew he was coming home with her the moment he nudged her for attention. 🖤

Kahleesi is a more classic cat—shy at first, but a loyal napper and sunbather. She survived frostbite, so she’s missing her tail and ear tips, but that doesn’t stop her from cuddling up with Natalia or hunting for spiders in the basement! 🤍

And then there's Mischief, her ball python. Mischief earned her name by slipping through the tiniest of openings when she first joined the family, but she’s since become a beloved "noodle" who loves curling around Natalia's shoulders while she plays video games. 🎮

In her free time, Natalia is a creative soul. When she's not at the clinic, she's animating, drawing, or crafting terrain for her Dungeons and Dragons campaign. 🎨🎲

Meet Diane, our Scheduling Coordinator, who works her magic every day to find appointments for our animals' spays, neuters, surgeries, check-ups, and so much more! This is the first vet clinic Diane has ever worked at, and she jokes that it’s the first place she's seen with a "diarrhea protocol"—which always makes her laugh! 😄

One of Diane’s favorite parts of the job is hearing about how stressed or shut-down foster animals come out of their shells. Another highlight? When fosters call her to say they've officially become foster fails! 💛

Diane’s day starts by walking her two black labs, Dante (4) and his 11-year-old mom, Stormy. It ends with spending quality time doting on her two Ragdoll cats—and in between, she’s on the phone with fosters making sure all our animals get the care they need.

Meet Kelsey, our incredible Foster Vet Care Manager, who joined our team seeking a career change and found her passion in connecting people and animals through the mission of saying YES. 🌟

In her time at The Bond Between, Kelsey has seen countless animals, but one that left a lasting mark was Von, a tiny pitty brought in by our Fighter Fund during her first weeks on the job. “Von was severely emaciated, suffering from pneumonia, and diagnosed with megaesophagus,” Kelsey remembers. “Our whole team rallied around him, but in the end, we had to let him pass in peace. I will never forget him.” 🤍

Recently, Kelsey became a foster fail with her long-term foster Woodstock. “He’s a special boy with special quirks, and we work through them together every day. I think he landed right where he was meant to be. We love him very much,” she shares. 🐾

Kelsey, your heart for animals and dedication to their care is inspiring. Thank you for all you do to support our team and the animals we serve! 💙
