Meet the one and only Gimli! 💙

Gimli may not see the world with his eyes, but he experiences it with his heart, his nose, his ears, and a whole lot of confidence. Blind dogs don't know they're "different", they simply adapt, learn, and continue living happy, fulfilling lives.

Today, we're celebrating Gimli and all the incredible blind dogs out there who prove every day that courage doesn't require perfect vision. ❤️

First up… meet Roy! 🖤 Roy is the sweetest boy and is currently available for adoption through Just Animals Shelter! He’s proof that black cats are anything but bad luck. They’re sweet, silly, loving, and absolutely deserving of a forever home. 🐈‍⬛❤️

🐱 Another Amputee Available For Adoption 🐱

Everyone meet Yardly.. Because a yard has three paws, we mean feet 😅

This handsome fella was brought in as a stray through our shelter Just Animals to get neutered and was quite feisty at first and we quickly found out why… Once Yardly was sedated we discovered that his bone was protruding through his skin. As you can see from his radiograph his metatarsals were quite broken. So he quickly went from your basic routine neuter to a full leg amputation. 🦴

Yardly is recovering beautifully and has become the most loving boy now that he is no longer suffering from what we could only imagine was horrible pain. He is officially ready to find his furever home! 🏠

PUPDATE! Maddy went home to a wonderful family today and now has two doggy siblings to spend her life with 💕

Adopt Maddy! 🤩

Maddy came to our shelter Just Animals with a severe fracture to her back left leg. Unfortunately, repairing the fracture wasn’t an option and amputation was the next best thing.

Maddy is now recovering comfortably and is ready to find her new forever home! Here is some of what we know about this sweet girl with the short time we’ve had her:
