After 3 Months Mr. Bear out of Jasper X Kona 2.0 went home today. This dog has really done a fabulous job and I can’t wait to get him back next year to continue and build him into a great hunting dog and possibly run a few tests with him.
3 Months in and this is where we are at
-Basic Obedience as well as some advanced obedience done
-Collar Conditioning done
-Heal on and off Leash Proficiently
-Gun fire Introduction
-Bird Introduction
-Hold Conditioning
-Introduction to Casting
-Simple and Advanced recall
- Plenty of socialization
-Simple and some Advanced singles out to 125 yards
-Simple Doubles up to 50 yards
-Steadiness on the wingers while still keeping momentum going

Very happy with how Bear progressed this year. I can’t wait to get him back next year to do some big dog stuff and get him ready for the 25/26 season!

Bear is owned by Nate and Meghan Gilkerson. Thank you guys for trusting him with me this year.

Happy Sunday Everybody! We got some big news we would like to share with everyone. Diamond dogs and Windmill Creek Kennels are now working together for all of your dog training needs. We are here to help you with all your dog training from gundogs, advanced obedience work, dock diving, behavioral modification and much more! We are both very excited for this and looking forward to the future and all of our future clients that have trust in us with their dogs!

Another big announcement , where we are kneeling in this picture, is going to be the home of our very own dock diving pool here in the Grundy county area. We will be sure to post plenty of pictures when it is up and finished. Dock rental, lessons, as well as possibly having a weekly dock league in the summer is in the works as well!
