This little baby was found on the road in a neighboring town by some people passing by. They contacted everyplace they knew of in their town but no place was able to help . We are extremely full however once we seen his picture it was clear we had to help him. The first two pictures are what was sent to us. The last picture is after a little tlc. This little guy is a walking skeleton at 1.3 pounds he should be double that weight. His gums where white from anemia, he was full of fleas, and covered in f***s from severe diarrhea. He clearly would not have made it another day with out help. He was literally being devoured from parasites from the inside out. His giardia test was a strong positive and in less than hour after being dewormed we could clearly see he had hookworms, round worms, whip worms and tape worms. We are pretty confident he will see a full recovery. He is going to need a name so let's hear your suggestions.

Day one of treatment for this boy. Meet Picasso, he was just diagnosed with FIP . FIP is a nasty disease that until the last few years has been a death sentence. Just within the last year the drugs to treat FIP have been legalized to use. FIP starts with the corona virus, which is basically the common cold. Not to be confused with Covid in people. Unfortunately some cats are genetically predisposed to this virus mutating into FIP. Once it mutates to fip there are many forms or ways cats can be affected. Picasso here is suffering from the wet form . His belly is bloated with a yellow straw like substance. Today he starts his treatment. Its not cheap to treat but the results have been amazing with previous cats we have treated. Praying for a successful treatment for this boy as well. Today he weighs 2 pounds 12 oz what we usually see is in the first week is a little weight loss as they lose that nasty fluid. Follow us to watch his road to recovery.
