Visited our Graham for a couple hours today. He hopefully gets to come home on Friday or Saturday morning if everything goes to plan. He seemed very sleepy and sad today, but it was nice to give him kisses and scratches. We can’t wait to bring our baby boy home! 💙🐴 We love you buddy. He’s been very well taken care of, and we are so thankful! He even got his hair braided 🥰

Graham is out of surgery. Everything went well. They were able to suture everything including the hoof. Not sure yet if the hoof will heal, it might slough off. He will be in a cast for about 2 weeks and then a boot for possibly 6 months. He’s on IV antibiotics and pain meds. Hopefully there isn’t infection in his joint. They tapped it and sent it off to be sure. He’s got a long road ahead of him but hopefully he’ll be ok. Please keep those prayers coming. Thank you.

We just left the clinic. Graham will be there for about 5 days until they are able to suture his wound and get a cast on him. Luckily, it didn’t tear through an artery. Because his cut tore through his hoof, it will be a tougher healing process.
Thank you all for the prayers! And thank you to the University of Illinois large animal clinic for taking such good care of him! ❤️ We pray there are no infections and that he is able to come home next weekend!

Please say some prayers for our Graham. We are on our way to U of I large animal clinic because he got his foot caught and sliced his back left foot & leg open pretty bad. He is a trooper, but he is bleeding a lot and in pain. Thank you, everyone! We will provide an update when we can. ❤️
