What's included in a pet wellness exam?

Routine wellness visits help your veterinary team keep track of your pet's health and address potential concerns. Here's what you can expect:

🩺 The exam: A full physical examination to assess your pet's overall health.
💉 Vaccines: Reviewing which vaccinations are appropriate for your pet's age, lifestyle, and health.
🧪 Labwork: Discussing any recommended bloodwork, urine testing, or other screening tests.
❤️ Personalized care: The time to ask questions, review medications, discuss preventive care, and talk about any changes you've noticed at home.

When was your pet's last checkup? 🐶🐱

A VERY happy belated birthday to Bohdan! 🐾🥳

We might be a little late, but couldn't let this birthday boy go without a shoutout!

Bohdan is the beloved pup of our newest vet, Dr. Soja, and we're so happy to have him (and his human!) as part of the Leach family.🩵

Our pets age much differently and more quickly than we do, so a lot can change behind the scenes in just 6-12 months! 🐾

Regular testing is one of the greatest gifts we can give our furry friends. ❤️🩸

Here’s why:
1. Early Detection: Pets are masters at hiding illness. Bloodwork can catch subtle changes in kidney, liver, or thyroid function long before physical symptoms appear.
2. A Baseline: Knowing what is "normal" for YOUR pet makes it much easier for your vet to spot the very first sign of trouble.
3. Peace of Mind: Peace of mind goes a long way. Catching issues early often means easier, more effective management to keep them feeling their best!
