Finally got my daughters Paris quilt done... Its been an ongoing project and took longer than I wanted but incredibly happy with how it turned out!!!!

This was from a few days ago but.... thought I would share.... We opened up the hay field and I called the horses to come. They came running!!!! I loved it!!!! I didnt get to spend anytime in the saddle this weekend as I spent my time in the ICU with my sister. I came home today as she finally became stable but still very ill and in ICU. Being in two places in very difficult. I'm exhausted tonite with all of the emotions and ups and downs. I'm hoping and praying she will be getting better. I just needed to come home.... to familiar surroundings, familar sounds and familiar smells. I needed to hear rhe creek running, the dogs barking and feel my cats fur beneath my fingers and see my horses grazing in the field. I imagine for me.... heaven has all this and more... I imagine walking in tall green grasses, riding horses without a saddle and bridle (and I can get on without a step ladder lol). I imagine campfires with smores and sunsets that take your breath away. Most of all I imagine this with friends, family and of course Jesus. I see a little bit of heaven everytime I look outside and after the weekend in ICU.... I thank Jesus for that piece of HEAVEN!!!!

What a wonderful weekend it turned out to be!!!! We got to have 2 trail rides and a meet and greet. It was a busy weekend but we got to meet some really amazing people. We had our last Cowboy Cookout and the camp fire felt good this time of year and cooking a brat over it was beyond delicious!!!!
As we look at finishing our trail rides for the year we are excited that we will be offering Special Winter Rides!!!! If you haven't followed us on Facebook now is the time to click that button so you know when the Winter rides will happen, when riding lessons for next year will start up and when we will start scheduling trail rides for next year. We will be offering Special Christmas Discounts on the 2027 season activities.

This weekend we had the honor and privilege to host another Girl Scout troop. This is very dear to my heart as I was a Gorl Scout as a young child and even into my teens. It brings back wonderful memories and LOVE helping these young ladies earn their badges!!!!
We offer many different options and the leaders choose what they want their troops to do. We try very hard to accommodate each troop and their individual needs. This group of young ladies chose to go on a 30 min horse ride. (ALWAYS A BIG HIT), LEARN ABOUT NUTRITION FOR A HORSE, BASIC COMMANDS OF WALK ON, WHOA, SAFETY AROUND HORSES, HOW TO WALK A HORSE AND WE FINISHED WITH A BRAIDING ACTIVITY AND PAINTING THEIR HORSE AND THEN OF COURSE A PONY PARADE!!!!!
This is where I NEED YOUR HELP!!!! PLEASE vote for your favorite painted pony!!!! There a picture of each horse and girls that painted that horse!!! Ive put the pics of the painted horses at the beginning and then the pics of the rest of the activities.
The girls were here for only 3.5 hours and jammed packed LOTS OF HORSE ACTIVITIES IN THAT TIME FRAME.
Of course Pepper the goat greeted everyone and showed all the girls around. He has become our little mascot and greeter for the ranch!!!!
We have done church groups, business bonding activities, family workshops, as well as scouts. Please contact us for your group activities. We can accommodate children and adults!!!!
