Sometimes breeding isnt for the faint of heart.
We are thankful for the does that go above and beyond…Hazel was of our best show team does and has turned into one of our best mamas!
Hazel, Darla, Voltage all ended up with a single black baby due to peanuts/doa, so all 3 littles were given to Hazel to raise. Size wise we can tell which is which due to being born a few days apart but will be interesting to play whos your mama as they grow! Sharpie is gonna be our friend 😅
But the fun doesnt end there, we had another doe pass away unexpectedly, we are guessing from birth complications as it looked like prolapse & a first timer , Hazel then took on her 4 babies as well. We don’t typically like to give does more then 4-5 babies at one time but this was an emergency. Thankfully these 4 black babies were all Lionheads and will be easy to tell who is who!
So total is at 7 black babies this round: All born with 3-4 days apart and are roughly around the 1 week mark!

✨ 1 Black baby from GC Eligible ARS Darla (Black - 9 legs) sired by GC Eligible ARS Aftershock (Black - 6 legs)
✨ 1 Black baby from GC Eligible Smokin Roses Voltage (Black Otter - 7 legs) sired by GC Eligible ARS Aftershock (Black - 6 legs)
