With a 2-level condo and 3-level townhome available, your kitty can enjoy a quiet, comfortable stay. Our cat room is completely separate from the dog area—because we know how important a peaceful environment is for our feline friends. 💙

P.S. We only have 3 standard dens left for the weekend of May 17th & 18th—don’t wait to book your stays! Memorial Day weekend is also right around the corner and will be next to fill up! 🗓️

In addition to refreshing the front gardens, we also refreshed the sensory garden in the exercise yard with fresh scents for the pups to sniff. 🐶

Rebecca the groomer is taking her own time to “pause and play”. She will respond to inquiries when she returns.

Due to a long overdue (7 years overdue 🤯) vacation, grooming AND training will be 🛑CLOSED🛑 from March 31st until April 21st. All PMs, emails, and texts will be returned after that time.
We look forward to pampering your puppers when we get back!

Paws & Play is proud to return as a Diamond Sponsor for this year’s Furr Ball: Cough It Up for the Animals, hosted by the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown! This incredible fundraiser helps provide shelter, medical care, and second chances to animals in need, and we’d love to see our community come out in support.

Our Furr Ball Cough It Up For The Animals fundraiser is back for its 4th year!! Join us for an evening filled with fun including social hour and a buffet dinner. The committee has been working hard to secure some of the best live and silent auction items that we have ever had. We cannot wait to start posting some teasers. Live music is back this year by Rhythmic Rewind, Remixed Rock 'N Soul Classics. All proceeds help the shelter provide essential needs and safe haven for the lost, homeless and abused animals in our community. Mark your calendar for April 5th for a fun evening at Midnight Garden! 🚨 Spring Breakers - With recent flight delays and cancellations across the country PLEASE have a current emergency contact on file that will be able to pick up your pup should you be delayed returning.

We will not be able to accommodate late pickups during spring break and arrangements will need made to have your pup picked up should you be delayed.

We are full for spring break except for the following dates/dens:

- Limited day camp spots Mon & Tues (Wed & Thurs Is full)

🚨 We’ve recently identified an instance of an individual attempting to submit falsified vaccine records for their pet, and we want to be clear—this will NOT be tolerated. 🚨

At Paws & Play, the health and safety of every pet in our care is our top priority. We require up-to-date vaccination records from a licensed veterinarian to ensure a safe environment for all our guests.

Any client found to have falsified vet records will be permanently blacklisted from booking with us. Additionally, we will notify the listed veterinarian of the falsification. In this instance when we suspected the records were doctored we confirmed through the vet listed that this pet was out of date and the client inactive in their system.

We understand that keeping up with pet vaccinations can sometimes be challenging, but honesty and compliance with our policies are non-negotiable. These measures are in place to protect your pets, our staff, and the other animals in our care.

If you have any questions about our vaccination requirements, please reach out—we’re happy to help!
