Big cleaning happened these last few days. The outside areas got a good scrubbing and a bunch of weeds were sent packing. Big shout out to Liz, Matt, Andrew and the rest of the gang for their hard work! I am so lucky to have such a dedicated bunch.

Ope! I almost forgot to post today. We, mostly Liz and Matt, put new mulch in the play yard today. They did an awesome job making that happen!

Big sky water is about to come by. I was outside with the dingoes and when I saw the first lightening off in the distance, All of the yards were brought in. We'll see how it goes from here.

I could see their silhouettes and hear them romping around. I was in a bit earlier than normal today. My dingo brats woke me at 4:30!

Working with Chief and Cheyenne this morning. Neither of them like to come in. I'm sitting and patiently waiting for them to come to me. I give them pets and praise. I'm trying to get them comfortable with me and used to my touch. Letting them know that they aren't going in just because they are being called. Sometimes dogs are hesitant to be touched because it usually means it's time to go in. Great success today so far. Of course, Chief came over twice after the camera was turned off! Sorry if the video is fuzzy. I can't tell because I don't have my glasses on.

This week is fence maintenance. We check the perimeter each day for gaps or holes under the fence. This is our oldest fence- it was here when I purchased the kennel in 2006. Over the years we've done little repairs here and there. I'm putting 6 screws in every board, reinforcing where the fence attaches to the posts and replacing anything that's beyond its usefulness. Yep, that's a lot of screws!

Green paw alert! I mowed the yards this morning, so the pups might have some highlights on their toes. I usually mow later in the day, but couldn't pass up on the cool weather and a slow spot in the day!
