Who can resist those eight-eyed glances and fuzzy pink toes?
Jumping spiders bring the sass, pinktoes bring the elegance—and both bring the cuteness overload.

Whether they’re peeking from a flower or tiptoeing across their enclosure, these little wonders are proof that arachnids aren’t just fascinating… they’re downright adorable.

🕷️ Come meet the cuties in person. Warning: you might fall in love.

🎉 Breeding update from the Eighth Element vaults!

Today we paired Harpactira pulchripes (Golden Blue Leg Baboon), Monocentropus balfouri (Socotra Island Blue Baboon), and Hapalopus sp. Colombia (Pumpkin Patch Tarantula). The H. pulchripes and M. balfouri were successful — fingers crossed for fertile sacs. All three species will be paired again next week for another round.

Stay tuned for more updates from the silk-lined trenches 🕷️💥

Curly tail, killer instincts 🕵️‍♂️🦎
This Bahama Curly Tailed Lizard woke up and chose violence. Breakfast didn’t stand a chance. One moment it was peace and mulch… the next, it was a full-blown reptilian ambush. Tail curled like a croissant, attitude set to “apex.”

About Us

History Eighth Element LLC was founded in the late summer of 2019 by three co-founders Amanda and Floyd VanDruff, and Cheyanne Thomas. Before the business there was the hobby, before that, a singular Nhandu Chromatis named Lydia, the very first tarantula in the Eighth Element family. As the hobby grew, they quickly adapted to the need for tarantula food, and began breeding their own supply of feeder insects, along with making their own feeder food. Their goals adapted, and now Eighth Element’s mission is to offer the highest quality, most unique merchandise on the market, from our family to yours. Why Choose Eighth Element? Eighth Element is dedicated to offer the highest quality, most unique merchandise on the market, from our family to yours. We strive to ensure high standard and quality care with all of our captive bred tarantulas and feeders, as well as maintaining the top customer service and care.
