Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc. We are located in Northern Colorado and hold adoption events usually in Loveland, CO.

We are an all volunteer, all breed, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to rescuing dogs from high volume shelters and finding them permanent, loving homes. We are a 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to getting dogs out of shelters and into loving homes! All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (over a year) and microchipped. All of our dogs are in foster homes awaiting their forever families to find them.

PLEASE SHARE so that this amazing girl can find her happy ever after!!! This is AISHA and she has been with us for TEN MONTHS without a single application.

Meet Aisha, a two-year-old bundle of love and energy! This sweet girl is a fantastic house guest—she’s housebroken and kennel trained, and calm in the house, making her an easy addition to any home. Aisha has gone to work with her foster, and does incredibly well there. Aisha adores everyone she meets (and has been great with her foster's 4 year old human) and would thrive with a yard and another playful dog to help burn off some of her boundless energy. She would also make an excellent hiking buddy, always ready for an adventure! Aisha loves a good game of fetch, though she’s more of a self-entertainer, tossing her toys around when she doesn’t bring them back. She’s a silly, fun-loving girl with a big personality. Her one quirk is that she can be very mouthy at times (someone obviously taught her that this play was okay), so she will need some guidance and redirection in this area, but this has improved significantly over the past 10 months. With her joyful spirit and sweet nature, you’ll be smitten with Aisha in no time!

Oh, and she is amazing in the car - settles right in, calm as can be.

Aisha is currently being fostered in Superior, Colorado.

Meet Yennifer!

This tiny beautiful girl is a funny one. She generally likes to hide, but if you able to pick her up, she enjoys being held and pet. I think once she settles into a home where she is comfortable, she will be a sweet and loving companion, but she will need time and patience to get there.

She is great with other cats.

Meet Snowberry!

It's hard not to fall in love with Snowberry (affectionately called Mama)! She is a sweet 5 year old mix of Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd and Chow (DNA results) who is slowly but enthusiastically coming out of her shell after having 5 puppies. Her puppies are all adopted now, and she is looking for her forever home. If you have room for a respectful, trained and loving big dog in your home, this dog is a keeper. She is back to her normal weight and is feeling safe in the world again. She loves playing with her big dog foster brother, but honestly would love to just sleep and cuddle the days away.

She keeps track of the fence line, but not aggressively. She loves to nap in the sun, and nap in bed, and nap on the couch, and also nap on the rug in front of the fire. She is smart, won't disrespect boundaries, and hasn't got a mean bone in her body. She is definitely trained and has enjoyed a loving home in her previous life.

She has not been tested with cats or babies, and she is probably not in the mood for more puppies at this point, but she will adapt to most any home with all the right loving kindness.

PLEASE, PLEASE SHARE so these adorable pups can find HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS! They have been with us for almost two months with ZERO interest.

SOPHIA - white female, 5 mos., approx. 25 lbs
Meet the ever smiling and lovable Miss Sophia . If you want a dog that is smart, potty trained and crate trained if you want a girl that sits for treats and is eager to learn, if you want a girl who loves other dogs, if you want a good girl, then Sophia is the dog for you. She is so loving and sweet and gentle . She also has a playful personality.
Her favorite things are sticks and food and lots of cuddles.

WALDO - tan male, 5 mos., approx. 25 lbs.
This handsome young man is Mr Waldo . And yes we constantly ask “where’s Waldo ?” This boy is potty and crate trained . He loves toys, tv, playing on the grass, looking at birds and sunsets . He loves cuddles and kisses . If you want a boy who is eager to learn and just make you happy and also be playful, then this boy is the man of your dreams.

Meet Cubby!

It doesn't get much cuter than Cubby!! This girl is oh so sweet, so smart, so fun and so chill. She is doing wonderfully at housetraining, sleeps through the night and is a wonderful cuddle bug!

She is a little over half Great Pyrenees with a bunch of other breeds mixed in! We think these pups will likely be in the 60-70 lb. range full grown (just a guess).

Cubby has a beautiful thick coat that will need regular brushing to keep it healthy and looking its best.

Any family will be lucky to have this amazing

Meet Brendon—and oh, what a wonderful boy he is!

This sweet approximately 9 yr old gentle guy warms up quickly and becomes incredibly social and affectionate once he knows you. Brendon is a truly wonderful cat who would be thrilled to curl up in a cozy lap while you watch TV. He gets along beautifully with other cats and even dogs. He’s a wonderful blend of affectionate, playful and calm - both sweet and easygoing. He is doing great with housebreaking and can't wait to join his new family on their Colorado adventures.

This adorable pup has a wonderful temperament. Paddington is a Great Pyrenees (about 1/2), mixed with several other wonderful breeds (we tested his brother’s DNA!). Paddington is an easygoing, gentle soul, who loves tumbling with his brother and receiving snuggles from his humans. He is just an all around amazing boy! He is doing great with housebreaking and is ready to find a furever family to call his own.

Paddington has a beautiful thick coat that will need regular brushing to keep it healthy and looking its best.

With his loving nature and mellow charm, any family will be lucky to add him to their pack!
