Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc. We are located in Northern Colorado and hold adoption events usually in Loveland, CO.

We are an all volunteer, all breed, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to rescuing dogs from high volume shelters and finding them permanent, loving homes. We are a 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to getting dogs out of shelters and into loving homes! All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (over a year) and microchipped. All of our dogs are in foster homes awaiting their forever families to find them.

Praline is as sweet as her name — the softest, kindest, most loving girl you could ever hope to meet. She adores being with her people and has a way of looking up at you with those big, soulful puppy eyes that could convince anyone to give her an extra treat (or two!). She's a dream in the home — she’s crate trained, knows “sit” and “down,” stays off the furniture, and walks beautifully on leash. She’s gentle, well-mannered, and has an easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. She also loves a good roll in the grass or a toy to toss around the yard. She’s on the lower-energy side and would be just as happy snuggled up near you as she would be keeping you company during a quiet afternoon.
Any family would be lucky to have her, and she’s sure to fill her forever home with love and calm, happy energy. It’s going to be hard for her fosters to say goodbye to this special girl!

Meet DELTA, the Sweetest Sidekick Ever!
This lovable 8 month old goof is the ultimate cuddle buddy — he’ll follow you everywhere (unless he’s busy hunting grasshoppers or soaking up the sun). He knows “sit,” is learning not to jump when excited, and is fully crate-trained.
He lives for walks, toy destruction, stealing dog beds for forced snuggles, and protecting the yard from squirrels. Personal space? Never heard of it.
He’s playful, affectionate, and would thrive in an active home or with another dog friend. If you’re looking for unconditional love and a built-in adventure buddy, this sweet boy is ready to be yours!

We have had OAT for almost 4 months now and we don't understand why!!!

Meet Oat!
This sweet, scruffy 1-year-old pup weighs about 17 pounds—and could use a few good meals to fill out his frame. He’s still very much a playful youngster, full of curiosity and joy.

Oat knows a few basic commands and is eager to learn more—he’s a people-pleaser through and through. He enjoys moderate exercise and would do well with daily walks and some playtime to keep his tail wagging.

Due to his past, Oat can be a little protective over food and high value treats (so we do recommend families with older children), but who can blame him? He likely hasn’t had much before and is still learning to trust that there’s more where that came from.

This boy is such a lover. He is a true lap dog and would thrive in a home where he can be the only dog and get all of your attention. He does well with dogs his size or larger but sometimes does not know when to stop. He would love a lap to keep warm and a person or persons to love!

Oat will NOT make a good apartment dog at this time, as he does not enjoy his kennel and may annoy the neighbors if left kenneled alone.

Meet HART! Hart is a 4-month old gentle and affectionate puppy. Hart is curious and playful with a very loving personality. Though small, she is full of love and determination. She is making wonderful progress on potty training and enjoys playing with her foster's other dogs, but especially loves being close to her humans while still showing her independent spirit.

We think Hart may be a Boston Terrier mix.

Meet Hognose!

This handsome young pup is full of charm — with his long, lanky legs (he’s still growing into them!) and soulful eyes, he’s hard to resist. We believe he’s possibly a mix of Rottweiler, Doberman and hound — and he’s got the best qualities of each.

Hognose is a sweet, gentle soul who’s still building his confidence. He’s a little shy and underweight right now, but we’re helping him gain both trust and a few healthy pounds.

At night, he prefers not to be alone in his crate and may whimper a bit before settling down, but he’s making great progress. He’s already doing fantastic with house training — no accidents overnight and learning to go outside during the day.

Hognose is the kind of dog who just wants to be loved and reminded he’s a good boy (because he truly is!). He’ll make a wonderful companion for just about any family — all he needs is a little patience, kindness, and someone to call his own.
