True Dog Grooming

Hi Everyone! It's been a while since True Dog's last post!
It has been a super busy summer in the grooming room and I have had so many amazing clients coming with their pups. I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who are so supportive of this small business. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This is a difficult post for me to make because I am so grateful to each of you for your continued business. My business got a little too big before I knew it. I apologize to anyone who has had a hard time getting ahold of me and I thank you so much for your patience! I will still be grooming as much as I can but I will be making a couple changes around here for the benefit of my family.

1. Price increases are coming...I HATE having to do this...but I have to do this in order to maintain this business. It is unfortunate but the small single groomers still have the same licensing and software fees as the "big dogs" (pun intended). So for that reason and in order to maintain my equipment and supplies well, I have to raise these prices.

2. A new requirement - every dog will be booked through to the end of the year. I have been having such a hard time making sure that my wonderful regulars are getting in when they need to. It is stressful and I have so many other things to worry about, that this just needs to be a norm. That way, no one will need to be "squeezed" in to the schedule at the last minute and your groomer will stay way less stressed, which is good for everyone. 😉

3. No more Saturday appointments - when the school year starts (August 13th). I apologize for the inconvenience but my family needs me more! My kids are only young for a while longer and I need to be with them on the weekends during the school year. Saturday appointments will resume when school gets out next year.

ALL these things together will create a more dynamic and established grooming business that you will be able to rely on and trust with your wonderful pets! I am truly honored to have so many wonderful people around me and choose me to be their pet's groomer. Thank you again!!!

✅ 7 dogs bathed/dried/groomed
✅ 14 shampoo/rinse
✅ 14 ears cleaned
✅ 126 nails trimmed
✅ 28 pads clipped/feet trimmed
✅ everything else I’m not thinking of 😂

So thankful for my clients and their awesome pups!

Lou Lou is one of the best ranch dogs out there. RISE Performance Horses is never without this faithful girl. Love her so much.

I’m so excited to be able to offer early drop off and late pickup options again starting in March!
-The cases of the respiratory condition have decreased
- Proper cleaning procedures will still ensure less risk
- I do ask if your dog displays any illness that they strictly stay home
- Private grooming sessions are absolutely still available with notice

I am so happy to still offer a low-key grooming setting. I hope that you and your dog enjoy your experience with me.

Happy New Year to all my wonderful clients, friends and family who have supported True Dog Grooming the past year. I could not have done it without you. I am so thankful for each and every dog who has passed through my care and count each one a blessing. Cheers to 2024 and lots and lots more clean, happy, healthy dogs and cats at True Dog Grooming!
