Our team enjoyed some delicious food and sweet treats throughout Vet Tech Week! 🐾💙

A huge shoutout to Chick-fil-A Lebanon, Kelly Chandler - pastry chef, and Surcheros - Mt. Juliet, TN for helping us treat our amazing team this week! 🥰

Our techs put so much heart into what they do every single day, and we hope this week reminded them just how much their hard work, dedication, and compassion mean to us. We truly couldn’t do what we do without them! ❤️🐾

🐾 Wrapping up Vet Tech Week with a big THANK YOU to our amazing HVP team! 🐾💙

As Vet Tech Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize our incredible veterinary technicians and everything they do each and every day!

At HVP, our techs care for patients of all shapes, sizes, and species! 🐶🐱🐰🦜🦎🐹 Working in a mixed and exotic animal practice takes a special kind of patience, knowledge, compassion, and adaptability, and our team brings all of that and more! From assisting with exams and procedures to monitoring anesthesia, educating pet owners, and making sure every patient receives the best care possible, our techs play such an important role in everything we do.

To our amazing veterinary technicians, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and the love you put into caring for every patient, whether they’re furry, feathered, scaly, or anything in between! We appreciate you more than you know! 🐾💙

Celebrating Leaha for Vet Tech Week! 🐾

Leaha has been part of our team since day one, and we are so grateful to have her!🫶🏻

When asked what she wishes more people understood about being a veterinary technician, Leaha shared how physically and emotionally draining the job can be. It takes a lot of strength, compassion, and dedication to care for animals every day.

Being a vet tech has also taught her how to multitask quickly and handle the many responsibilities that come with the job.😊

To Leaha, being part of the team means being family, having people you can count on, supporting one another, and getting through both the good days and the hard ones together. ❤️ We are grateful to have Leaha part of our team!!

Meet Sabrina, one of our amazing veterinary techs! 💗

Being a vet tech has taught Sabrina just how precious life is and how much compassion truly matters. She’s learned that it is not only about saving and caring for animals but about making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for in an environment that can be scary for them. She’s learned the importance of patience with timid patients, earning their trust, and appreciating the little moments that remind us never to take time with others for granted.🥹❤️

Some of her most rewarding moments include stepping outside her comfort zone and succeeding at hands on skills she once felt scared to try, seeing patients recover, watching a happy, wagging tail leave the room, and earning an animal’s trust enough that they can relax in her arms, even in the middle of a chaotic environment. These are the moments that make being a veterinary technician so special her! We are thankful to have Sabrina as part of our team!🐶🐱🐾

We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Carly! 💙

One thing Carly wishes more people understood is how mentally challenging certain days in veterinary medicine can be. It’s not always puppies and kittens all day, every day, and this field comes with its share of difficult moments.

To Carly, being part of a veterinary team means having a second family she can always rely on, no matter what kind of day it is. Through the good days and the bad, having a team that has her back means everything to her. 😊🫶🏻

What keeps Carly going when the job gets hard is knowing she’s helping families care for their babies through every stage of life. Making a difference and helping animals is one of the best feelings, and having an amazing, supportive team by her side makes it all even more meaningful. 🐶🐱💕We’re so thankful to have Carly on our team!
