We’re New Leash On Life - Home of The JOY Clinic, and we’ve been an animal welfare non-profit here in Lebanon, TN, since 1978. We take pride in our pet food pantry and The JOY Clinic. We started this business because Wilson County was in need of an animal shelter. We are the first humane society in Wilson County. Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unlo

ved or abandoned dogs or cats. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our pet owner support programs in the hopes that all dogs and cats can find loving homes or stay with their loved family. NOTE: When you get started, you must choose 🦁 FEMALE LION 🦁 to access the feral/community cat schedule. Please do not choose cat from the options.....cat will link you to the owned cats schedule vs the Tuesday Community Cat schedule.

Feral cat spay/neuter services require an appointment. Here’s what you need to know:
✅ TNR Services will remain on Tuesdays only.
✅ A $10 deposit is required at booking.
Reminder: All appointments will be scheduled as if the cat is female (FEMALE LION). If you're sure the cat is male, book as female, and we’ll adjust during the visit.

Heartworm disease is serious, and Cassie is living proof of just how important prevention is for our pets. This sweet girl is currently undergoing heartworm treatment at our Adoption Center, and though her journey hasn’t been easy, she’s staying strong—and still has plenty of tail wags to share. 💕🐶

Heartworm disease is spread through mosquito bites. Infected larvae enter a pet’s bloodstream, where they grow into worms that can live for years—damaging the heart, lungs, and other organs. Dogs, cats, ferrets, and even wild animals like coyotes and foxes are at risk.

Come enjoy a beautiful Sunday with these pawsome pups, at the PetSmart in Mt. Juliet's Providence Marketplace between 1-4pm.

Siblings Tag (male) and Badminton (female) are lab mix puppies that are almost 5 months old and weigh about 30lb.

They are 2 other sisters Frisbee and Croquet. All 4 are full of puppy energy!

Samurai is a 9 year old Dachshund/Corgi mix who weighs around 19lb. He is set in his ways and needs a home with NO CHILDREN. Other than that he enjoys people and loves riding in cars.

*All dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and have started their vaccines, and are on flea/tick & heartworm prevention prior to adoption* **Adoption Fee $150**
**All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside-especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a "tie out" or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced in yard.**
