February 19, 2025. Snow Day Update! ❄️ ☃️🥶
Cumberland Animal Hospital will be delaying opening until 9:30 am. Grooming will be closed. Please keep an eye on facebook as we will be keeping you updated on our status here throughout the day.

It looks like we are forecast to receive snow over night tonight and into tomorrow morning. If you have an appointment on Wednesday 2/19/2025 and you wake up to snow please call us before you head this way. We hope to have a better plan after the weather hits and we are able to better assess the travel conditions and safety of our staff. 615-444-1232 In the meantime please follow us here on facebook for updates.

Issue Regarding MICROCHIPS.

Some of you received the pictured email regarding the closure of the company that owns “Save a Life Microchips.”

Here at Cumberland Animal Hospital we only use Home Again Microchips. We use them because of their dependability and longevity as a company. We do not implant any other brands of microchip. So if your pet’s microchip was implanted here at Cumberland Animal Hospital please rest assured that your pet’s microchip is functional and your information is registered and secure.

If your pet received its microchip from another provider such as another veterinarian, rescue, or shelter then you should check with them to see what brand microchip they use. If it happens to be the brand “Save a Life” microchip then please feel free to follow the instructions provided in the email.

Again, if your pet’s microchip was purchased from and implanted by Cumberland Animal Hospital then no further action is needed.
