We had some cute pups today for spay and neutering. This sweet girl is Reese and we enjoyed her stay with us today ❤️

We had a transport today from White County Humane Association. Twenty eight sweet kitties got spayed and neutered today and will go on to live wonderful lives! Thank you to white county for helping all these cats and transporting them to us!

WOW! Today we’re celebrating a HUGE milestone➡️it’s The JOY Clinic for low cost Spay & Neuter services 8th birthday!!

In just 8 years, our team has spayed and neutered 38,800 dogs and cats. That’s tens of thousands of lives improved and litters prevented.

Even more special? Today is also the birthday of Joy Bishop, whose generosity and vision made The JOY Clinic possible. Her commitment to animals and our community continues to make an impact every single day.

When you don’t spay and neuter… things can get out of hand! (Just ask our staff member buried under kittens in this picture 😹).

Cat overpopulation is a serious problem across the U.S. Millions of healthy, adoptable cats still enter shelters every year simply because there aren’t enough homes for all of them. One unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce hundreds of kittens in just a few years. Most shelters are already stretched thin, which is why spay/neuter is so important.

That’s where we come in! Here at The JOY Clinic, we provide low-cost spay/neuter services to help prevent unwanted litters before they begin. For community cats, trap-neuter-return (TNR) is one of the most effective ways to reduce overpopulation while keeping cats healthy and safe.

Please spay/neuter your pets, support TNR efforts, and help us spread the word. Together, we can reduce the number of kittens and puppies waiting in shelters for homes.
