When the time comes to say goodbye at home, choosing the right aftercare matters more than most people realize.
We work with many wonderful in-home euthanasia veterinarians—they provide a compassionate, peaceful experience for your pet and your family. What many pet parents don’t always know is that most of these providers do not perform the cremation themselves. After your pet is taken into their care, they are typically transported to a third-party crematory, often with limited visibility into the process.
At Pet Passages of Largo, we offer a different option.
You can choose to have your in-home euthanasia provider focus on what they do best, and then have your pet brought directly to us for cremation. We provide:
• A clear, respectful chain of custody
• Truly private cremation (only your pet in the chamber)
• Completion within 2 days in most cases
• A straightforward total price of $300
Important: If you would like us to handle cremation after an in-home euthanasia, please call us in advance so we can schedule the time and place for pickup and ensure everything is handled smoothly.
Our goal is not to replace the care you receive at home—but to give you confidence, transparency, and peace of mind in what comes next.
Ask the vet where they take your pet. If you are not comfortable with the answer then we are here to help.
If you have questions about how this works, we’re always here to help guide you through it.
