We just can't get enough of Odette! ❤️🐾

If you caught her story yesterday, here's another little glimpse of the sweet girl behind it!

At 2 years old, Odette has a gentle spirit, a little bit of sass and a whole lot of love to give. She enjoys the simple things in life: leisurely walks, cozy places to relax and spending time with people who make her feel comfortable.

She may take a little time to warm up, but getting to know Odette is part of what makes her so special. And once you've earned her trust, you've got a pretty wonderful friend by your side. ❤️

Could you be the one to give Odette her next favorite place to curl up?

Come meet her at SPCA Tampa Bay!

Some dogs have a way of making even the simplest moments feel special. Odette is one of them. ❤️

Our sweet 2-year-old Odette recently enjoyed a Fido Fun Day with one of our volunteers, who shared this lovely glimpse into her personality:

"I had the sweetest day with Odette today! She's a very calm, quiet girl. It takes her a little while to warm up, but once she does, she's all yours. 💛 She let me know which way she wanted to walk (she's got opinions! 😄) and listened really well when called. She was a little nervous at first, but quickly found her favorite cozy spot and was soon snoring away! 😴 She did great meeting the cat, too! She's just a very good, gentle girl who would love a calm home to call her own."

Maybe the best part of Odette's story is still waiting to begin. And maybe it begins with you. ❤️

Come meet Odette at SPCA Tampa Bay!

A little help with pet food can make a big difference for a family. ❤️🐾

Our team was out at Positive Impact St. Pete this morning, helping distribute pet food to local families!

Through our Pet Food Banks, SPCA Tampa Bay helps families put food in their pets' bowls when times get tough. With the cost of pet care continuing to rise, this program helps keep pets where they belong: with the people who love them.

So far this year, we've distributed 16,261 bags of pet food, including 6,542 bags of dog food and 9,719 bags of cat food! That's a lot of full bowls, made possible by the generosity of our community.

Want to help keep our Pet Food Banks stocked? Monetary donations help us purchase food where it's needed most. We also welcome unopened, unexpired dry dog and cat food!

If you've ever wondered how much of a difference one foster volunteer can make, we'd love for you to meet Linda. ❤️

Over the past four years, Linda has welcomed more than 200 kittens into her home, including some of the tiniest kittens in our care and those needing extra medical attention. She's been there for the feedings, the extra care, and all those little milestones that lead to one big moment: watching them head home with families of their own.

That's more than 200 adoptions she's helped make possible. And for Linda, each kitten has been more than just a number.

Linda, thank you for treating every kitten like your own and giving so much of yourself to their care. We're incredibly grateful for you!

Read Linda's story and watch her video to hear what fostering means to her. 🐾

There's a whole lot of love (and expertise!) behind every little life we care for ❤️🐾

This National Veterinary Technician Week, we're celebrating the incredible people who do so much of the work you don't always get to see!

Today, we caught a little glimpse of that work as a litter of kittens visited our veterinary team for their routine rechecks. From monitoring their growth and administering vaccines to making sure they're healthy and ready for adoption, these appointments are just one small part of what our vet techs do every day.

Beyond these routine visits, our veterinary technicians assist with surgeries, administer treatments, monitor recoveries, and provide comfort and care to animals who need a little extra attention.

Their work takes skill, patience, compassion, and a whole lot of heart. And while much of it happens behind the scenes, the difference they make can be seen in every animal who gets a chance at a healthier, happier future.

To our amazing vet tech team, thank you for everything you do! We're so grateful for the care and dedication you bring to SPCA Tampa Bay every single day. ❤️

Help us show them some love in the comments! 🐱💕
