"I have been advised to ask everyone to please write to Chief Loux of the Largo Police Department:

The appropriate “ask” to Chief Loux would be to take appropriate action: conduct a criminal investigation as to the animal cruelty allegations and document the facts in a police report. please be kind and respectful. I know we got this, but we have to keep pushing forward. Waddles deserves it and clearly from the picture below he was suffering. When you write to the Chief please refer to Florida State Statute 828 which deals with animal abuse. That will give more validity to our letters if we can cite the laws that have been broken. [email protected]"
