Our work isn't done here. These people have thoroughly proved that they are untrustworthy. This "pause" isn't the end, it's merely first blood. We're winning but we haven't won.

Today is a great day to keep sharing this petition!

Make it clear to SPCA Tampa Bay that this move hasn't appeased anyone.

Pausing the puppy mill program simply isn't enough.

We want this program to end. We want SPCA Tampa Bay to admit they were wrong and change their values. We want an overhaul of the regime at SPCA Tampa Bay. The current leadership had exhausted any good faith they had left.

I see this as a small victory; but a clear message.

The point doesn't change. These vile people think this program can be worked out by temporarily pausing it and building trust with the community before trying again.

Martha Boden needs to go.
The entire board of directors needs to go.
We need to spread the word about how shameful of an organization SPCA Tampa Bay is. Let's make it so there's no clout associated with donating to them.

Too little too late.

You know sometimes when you hear news and you're waiting for them to stop talking and say "GOTCHA!" 🤣 ... Well that's what I was waiting for to happen when I was listening to a SPCA Tampa Bay video recently...

They've decided to partner with Pinnacle Pets the nation's largest pet wholesaler and Sunshine Puppies, a puppy store with three locations in Tampa Bay, FL to launch their "For All Dogs" program...

"WAIT WHAT?!" ... Yep unfortunately this isn't a bad joke... they will be giving up precious shelter space to breeder dogs that are more popular with the public, which to me and many others seems like the opposite of animal welfare & advocacy!!

Currently there's a nationwide shelter crisis due to lack of resources and over population... Florida ranks fourth highest euthanization rates in the country and Pinellas County ranks in the top five of the state. The intake levels at shelters are at an all time high & animals are losing their lives due to lack of resources to care for them...

It's also come to my attention that SPCA Tampa Bay have shut down the low cost spay and neuter vouchers for their area and will instead be using the shelters medical resources on the puppy mill dogs 😡😢🤷‍♂️

To me these actions are totally ludicrous and we really need to come together and help be a voice for the voiceless... Purrlease speak up on this issue wherever you can and sign the petition below, THANK YOU!

I never heard of this breeder podcast but this is the kind of crowd that Martha Boden rolls with now. I'm not going to sit through this garbage but I left a comment.
