Kennebunk Dog Park

Kennebunk Dog Park The KDP is a fenced off leash park for dogs to enjoy socializing & playing. The Kennebunk Dog Park was opened to the public in August of 2005.

Since it's opening the KDP has been a place for dogs to enjoy running and socializing with other dogs. KDP provides a large open area where dogs can safely play off leash. The park is managed and cared for by a group of volunteers known as the Kennebunk Dog Park Group. If you have questions, concerns, suggestions, or would like to join the KDPG please send a message via Facebook. Donations are vit

al in keeping the park open and cared for. Every penny counts when it comes to things like fence repairs, drainage, providing toys/water bowls/swimming pools, stocking p**p bags & dispensers, bench repairs, mowing & w**d whacking, and spraying for ticks in the summer. Tax deductible donations can be mailed to:
Town of Kennebunk
1 Summer Street
Kennebunk, ME 04043
IMPORTANT NOTE: Checks must be made out to the Town of Kennebunk and in the memo section it must be noted that the donation is for the Kennebunk Dog Park

We recently got an update regarding the Park and unfortunately construction continues to be delayed. Sadly this isn't the news we were all hoping for, but please continue to be patient as this is totally out of our control. The hopeful projected re-opening of the Park currently stands at late summer.

🌷 A quick update regarding construction at Public Works in regards to the "new" Park

Unfortunately due to the amount of snow Maine got in February construction came to a halt which will delay the re-opening that we had hoped would happen later this spring to likely happening early this summer (fingers crossed the new space will be open by Memorial Day Weekend).

We ask for continued patience as this is completely out of our hands, we are at the mercy of Public Works & the contractors they have hired to complete the facilities expansion project. As for now we encourage you to continue to utilize the many Land Trust trails available in KBK, KPT, & Arundel as well as the beaches while they remain open to dogs.....and remember, always pick up after your pooch 💩
