Kennebunk Dog Park

Kennebunk Dog Park The KDP is a fenced off leash park for dogs to enjoy socializing & playing. The Kennebunk Dog Park was opened to the public in August of 2005.

Since it's opening the KDP has been a place for dogs to enjoy running and socializing with other dogs. KDP provides a large open area where dogs can safely play off leash. The park is managed and cared for by a group of volunteers known as the Kennebunk Dog Park Group. al in keeping the park open and cared for. Every penny counts when it comes to things like fence repairs, drainage, providing toys/water bowls/swimming pools, stocking p**p bags & dispensers, bench repairs, mowing & w**d whacking, and spraying for ticks in the summer. IMPORTANT NOTE: Checks must be made out to the Town of Kennebunk and in the memo section it must be noted that the donation is for the Kennebunk Dog Park

The park is a "use at your own risk" facility, the KDPG is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur at the park. In the event of a dog fight or conflict with another owner please contact the Kennebunk Police Department and Animal Control Officer

UPDATE: Photo event postponed

Hi everyone! Saturday is looking ike a washout so we are going to move the professional photo event at the dog park to Sunday, May 31st. Still 11a-3p, still a $25 donations to the park, still an opportunity to get a professional photo of your pup!

We’re keeping an eye on Sunday’s forecast and will make another call if it’s looking rainy.

Another reminder that mosquito & tick spraying is taking place TOMORROW, MAY 26th between 6:30a-7:30a! Please plan to stay out of the park until 10a to allow time for the spray to dry on all surfaces.

Hi KDP guests and friends!

Please note that monthly mosquito & tick spraying at the park is happening next week. The next spray date is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26th between 6:30a-7:30a, weather permitting.

It is advised to stay out of the park for 2 hours after the spraying happens, so please plan your visit on 5/26 accordingly! There will also be signage posted and we’ll post again here another reminder.

Have you always wanted to have a professional photo of your pup, but didn’t know where to go?

Have you always wanted to make a donation to the Kennebunk Dog Park, but didn’t know how?

You’re in luck! On May 30th from 11a-3p, a professional photographer will be on-site at the dog park to take photos and raise money for the park. You’ll be given a digital link to print your photos and the requested donation is $25.

Checks can be made payable to the Town of Kennebunk, and please add ‘dog park’ to the memo.

We look forward to seeing you on 5/30 for this fun opportunity!
