The senior dogs always hit me the hardest. 💔

Maggs is 8 to 9 years old and was surrendered because of a move. After spending years with a family, she now finds herself sitting in a shelter kennel, trying to understand where everyone went.

I can’t help but think how confusing that must be.

She may be a little shy at first, but she’s reported to be playful, affectionate, and loves giving kisses once she trusts you.

Senior dogs deserve so much better than this. They deserve comfort, love, and a soft place to land.

Maggs is HW positive and can not be adopted until treatment is done. A rescue can pull and finish the treatment if they would like.

Bruno has spent 4 years watching the world from behind shelter walls. 💔 He’s not the dog rushing up to greet you. He’s the one hiding in the corner, unsure if people can really be kind.

The world has scared him for so long that he’s forgotten what safety feels like.But underneath that fear is a gentle soul who deserves patience, love, and a chance to finally exhale. Shelter life is no place for a dog to spend year after year waiting to be chosen.Please don’t overlook Bruno because he’s scared.

Sometimes the dogs who need the most love give the deepest kind in return. 🐾

Nala was adopted as a puppy, but her owner didn’t realize her breed would grow into a big dog. When she got bigger than expected, she was dumped because they wanted a smaller dog. 💔

Now Nala sits in a shelter wondering why she wasn’t enough. Despite everything, she’s still loving, loyal, and hoping someone will finally choose her forever. 🐾
