Bienvenue à Bijou! We are a bit behind publicly welcoming this sweet jewel 💎 Bijou arrived a little over a month ago, and while she has loved meeting her new family, We have had her in quarantine the last couple of weeks healing from a hoof injury. Bijou is ocularly impaired, but after consulting with our vet we decided we could offer her an appropriate life long home. She LOVES to cuddle!! She has adjusted very well to her new surroundings, friends sights and smells. Just watch her play with her new friends 💓

One year ago today we brought Mike to Saoirse Pastures! He is a calm, gentle soul who loves to connect and snuggle. He loves his pasture, pond, woods and wetlands and explores every inch of it. He’s grounded and helps those around him feel the same way. We love you!

We decided to move Pebbles and Bam Bam to a quieter spot at the sanctuary. They have entered their senior years and need a slower pace of life. We carved out a nest box for them in the sheep barn and they share the zebus pasture now. They have lived with the zebus off and on in the past and as you can see have a lovely relationship. 💓🐖🥰
