Earlier this month, we asked for help as we prepared to welcome 25–40 cats and kittens from one tough situation. That one situation turned into two. Thanks to our amazing foster community, shelter staff, volunteers and medical team, every single whiskered face has had the love and care they needed. 🐾THANK YOU! 💛

Now, these cats and kittens are starting to make their way into the shelter after receiving their exams, vaccines, and spay/neuter surgeries. Below are just some of the sweet faces waiting for forever homes. From shy wallflowers to social butterflies, every one of them is deserving of love. 🐱✨

👉Our website is being updated daily with bios and photos (how do you like our new placeholder pics?), but the best way to meet your match is to visit in person. Photos only tell part of the story! Come meet the cats, see their personalities shine, and fall in love in real life.

📍Adoption Center Hours: Wed–Sun: 12–4:30 (Thurs: 12–6:30)

If you spot a cat on our website who isn’t in the shelter, it means they’re in foster care, gaining confidence and learning how kind people can be. Our adoptions team can connect you with their foster family for more info.

8/22 Pupdate - All puppies have been adopted!!!!!

🌲Eight little explorers are ready to leave the woods behind & find forever homes!

Meet Ruby (she's an adorable little 3 legged-girlie), Maple, Violet, Boone, Gus, Bailey, Bruno, and Miso. They're an adorable crew of puppies who were found in the woods near a local hiking trail. Thanks to a couple of kindhearted Good Samaritans and loving foster homes, these pups have grown up healthy, social, and full of love.

💕They’ll be available for adoption starting 8/20 (after their spay and neuter surgeries), and will be ready to trade forest floors for cozy couches, only going back to the woods when their new families take them hiking!

🐾 Puppy adoptions are first come, first served with the option of a 24-hour hold to prep your home.

🐇 National Relaxation Day vibes, courtesy of Sage! 🐇

Earlier this year, we helped another shelter by taking in a few of the 54 bunnies they rescued from being raised for food. One of them was Sage, a sweet bun who spent his shelter days with his best friend, Cedar. Sadly, Cedar was very sick and passed away, but Sage’s story took a much brighter turn. 💙

A wonderful family adopted him, and we’re thrilled to share their update:

“He is truly thriving and so comfortable.”

Just look at this happy boy living his best, most relaxed life in his forever home! Thank you to Sage’s family for giving this glorious bun the love and comfort he deserves. 💕

These freshly spayed and neutered cuties are ready to start their next chapter. Kitten adoptions are first come, first served with no holds, so if your home needs a tiny, purring roommate, tomorrow’s your day!

8/20 Update: ADOPTED!!!!!

🐾Senior Update: Ziggy Edition!🐾

We posted about our fabulous senior girl Polly earlier today… but guess what? Her former roomie Ziggy is ALSO available as his pending adoption fell through! He's hoping his true forever home is just around the corner. 💕

Ziggy is a lap-adjacent kinda guy who adores pets and will gently reach out with his paw when you stop, because he’s definitely not done soaking up the love yet (totes adorbs!!)!

Whether adopted together or separately, Polly and Ziggy are dreaming of a cozy retirement full of love, soft blankets, and doting humans.

👑Who’s black and white, fabulous, and totally in charge? POLLY!! 👑

This 8-year-young XL senior queen came to us after her human developed allergies, and while her old roommate Ziggy just found his forever castle, we think it’s Polly’s turn to be swept off her paws!

Polly is a chill, lap-adjacent kinda gal who prefers to lounge next to you, not on you (true royalty has boundaries, after all). She’s got the best purr in the kingdom and loves sprawling out like the princess she is.

She’d do great with older kids who respect personal space, and she’s lived with other cats before. Dogs? Maybe… if they’re calm and know how to properly adore royalty without being too enthusiastic.

It's been an amazing adoption week for our senior friends! Let’s keep the senior kitty adoption magic going!! Come meet Polly Wednesday–Sunday 12–4:30 (Thursday 12–6:30)! She’s ready for her throne… and maybe your couch.
