Exciting Spirit Week Announcement 🎉 In just a little over a week, we will be having a Back to School Spirit Week!

✏️ Monday - Supply Day: Bring any of the following supplies, and in return get a cute pic of your pup to take home! All of the supplies collected will be donated to the Academy for Science & Foreign Language.

- Pencils
- Filler paper
- Clorox wipes
- Dry erase markers
- Folders with prongs

🐩 Tuesday - Bandana Day: Each pup will be given a free bandana to take home with them. All of the daycare dogs will be matching! Cute photos of this event will also be posted on our page.

🖍️ Wednesday - Crayola Day: Each pup will receive an adorable Crayola-themed toy of their choice to take home!

🎨 Thursday - Dog Art Day: Each pup will have their paw dipped in paint to create a one of a kind art project to take home! DISCLAIMER: your pet’s paws may be stained with colors from this project, so if you wish to participate, please keep that in mind!

🐶 Friday - Find N’ Sniff Day: Our play room will be filled with items/obstacles for the pups to run through to find treats! We will have different treat options available for pups with allergies, but if you're worried, feel free to bring your own treats for your pup!

Be sure to make your reservations for August 18th-22nd now to ensure your pup gets to participate in all the fun! 🐾

UPDATE: The kitten intruder know as Barb has been adopted! Thank you so much for all of your help in finding her a home... more food for me!

We have a kitten available for adoption! We've been calling her Barb, and she's about 7 weeks old. She is a polydactyl brown tabby, and while she is pretty shy, she's definitely starting to come out of her shell! We are certain her personality will only blossom more in a permanent home. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please give us a call, email, or stop by our front lobby. 🐱

Hello humans of the internet! I'm Nutmeg, and I am the clinic cat here at Whitesburg Animal Hospital. I've had the run of this clinic for about three years now, and I've only just managed to get my paws on this account. One of the humans who I headbutt regularly asked me some questions that they wanted to share with the internet....

"Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?"
-Bird watching! If you visit our clinic, if I'm not on the counter taking a nap, you can likely find me near the birdfeeder in the corner. I also love playing with my spring toys!

"Do you have any pets?"
-Only the humans who feed me

"What is your favorite thing to do at work?"
-Sleep... or pester the humans to feed me two hours early. Sometimes I have to step in for one of the doctors, but they make me wear a ridiculous outfit

"What is your Zodiac sign?"
-One of the humans says I'm a Virgo

"If you were an animal, what would you be?"
-A cat.... duh

"What is your guilty pleasure TV show"
-I don't know what a TV is, but I love watching bird feeder live screens on the portable window

"What's your theme song?"
-Material Girl by Madonna

I will likely be asking the other humans in my charge these questions, so keep an eye out for those!

Paw-sitively Exciting News -- our new phone system goes LIVE this morning at 10:00 a.m.!
