We are proud to highlight our kennel attendant Sydney! She began working with us at the start of this year. She is a bright and charismatic addition to our team!

Outside of caring for pets in our kennel, Sydney loves spending time with her own dogs at the park, swimming with her varsity high school team, listening to music, watching movies, and painting. She also has a great eye for style, always on the lookout for unique vintage and secondhand treasures when she goes thrifting!

Weโ€™re so lucky to have Sydney as part of our team. Her positivity, creativity, and hard work shine every day! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿพ

Meet Amelia, one of our lovely kennel staff members.

Amelia spends her shifts working behind the scenes, making sure that any boarding pets, surgical or hospitalized patients, and impounds are cared for.

Amelia has always had dogs and cats in her family. She has a real passion for them. Some of her favorite things to do are go on walks, spend time with family, and go to concerts.

Amelia brings so much value to our team with her willingness to step up. She is always flexible and ready to help. She is so kind and we appreciate having her! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿพ

๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿพ October is Pit Bull Awareness Month! ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽƒ

This month, weโ€™re celebrating the loyal, loving, and often misunderstood Pit Bull breed and what better way than to introduce you to one of our very own pittie sweethearts? ๐Ÿ’•

Meet our beautiful girl, Nutella ๐Ÿ’–

Sheโ€™s a young, affectionate, and sociable Pit Bull currently in our care and looking for her furever home ๐Ÿก. Sheโ€™s been tested with other dogs and does great with them, especially medium to large-sized pups who can keep up with her playful energy! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’จ

Sheโ€™s also spent time around children and did wonderfully, truly a gentle soul with a big heart. With a little continued training, regular exercise, and a family whoโ€™s ready to give her the love she deserves, sheโ€™s going to blossom into the most amazing companion. ๐ŸŒŸ

Pit Bulls like Nutella are bursting with love and loyalty, they just need someone to give them a chance.

National Vet Tech Week was a blast at Otter Lake Animal Care Center! ๐Ÿพ

We celebrated our incredible team all week long with coffee and breakfast treats, shower steamers, and personalized gift bags! Staff joined in on fun activities like โ€œGuess the Number,โ€ โ€˜Thankful Thursdayโ€™, and a rubber duck (dog) scavenger hunt that brought out everyoneโ€™s competitive side.

Weโ€™re beyond grateful for our hardworking, compassionate team and loved spoiling them a little for all they do every single day. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ
