🐾 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾

We currently have a very sweet approximately 2-3 year-old female Pit Bull mix in our care who is in need of rescue or placement. We have reached out to many rescues but unfortunately haven’t been able to find anyone with space for her yet, so we’re hoping our community may have some suggestions or connections. ❤️

She is an incredibly loving, affectionate girl who absolutely loves people. She is believed to be unspayed and appears to have had a litter or two of puppies in the past. If we are able to find a rescue willing to take her, we are more than happy to have her spayed before she goes.

She is a little unsure of other dogs, but we believe this may simply be because she hasn’t had much experience interacting or playing with them. We have been slowly introducing her to a friendly 2-year-old male dog here, and she is doing great and learning more every day! She has not shown us that she is dog aggressive — she mostly seems confused and unsure of how to interact.

She really is such a sweet girl and deserves the opportunity to get out of a kennel and into a rescue or foster environment where she can continue learning and eventually find her forever home. 🥺❤️

If anyone knows of a rescue, humane society, foster, or other organization that may be able to help, PLEASE comment below, tag them, or send us a message!

🚗 We are absolutely willing to transport her and drive a distance for the right placement.

Even if you don’t personally know somewhere, sharing this post could help us reach the person who does!

Thank you for helping us help this sweet girl. 🐾❤️

Meet Spooky! 🖤🤍
Don't let his name fool you—there's nothing spooky about this lovable, chunky boy! Spooky is a 10-year-old black-and-white gentleman with a heart as big as he is.
Spooky is partially blind, meaning he mainly sees large shapes and shadows, but he has adapted remarkably well and doesn't let his vision define him. His adorable crinkled ear gives him even more charm, and if there's one way to win him over, it's with catnip. This boy absolutely loves it!
What Spooky loves even more than catnip is people. He craves attention, enjoys being petted, and is happiest when he's soaking up affection from anyone willing to give it. He's an incredibly sweet, gentle cat who just wants someone to love.
Spooky's story is one that nearly ended far too soon. His previous owner was considering euthanasia because of his limited vision and concerns about him using the litter box. We couldn't let that happen to such a wonderful cat, so we offered to take him in instead because we knew he deserved a chance. Since arriving in our care, we haven't seen a single litter box accident. He's settled in beautifully and has shown us every day that he still has so much life and love to give.
While we haven't fully introduced Spooky to other cats, he previously lived in a multi-cat household. Here, he shares a room with other cats in nearby kennels and has remained relaxed and comfortable with their presence, showing no concerns. We believe he could do well with another cat given a slow, proper introduction.
Spooky has been waiting patiently for a family to see beyond his imperfections and recognize the incredible companion he is. His vision may not be perfect, but his ability to love certainly is.
If you're looking for a calm, affectionate best friend who will happily spend his days curled up beside you—with the occasional catnip party—Spooky is ready to fill your home with love.
Spooky has already been given a second chance at life. Now all he needs is someone to give him a forever home. ❤️
