Finishing up National Pet ID week!
🐾 Keep your pet safe with a microchip!

This tiny, rice-sized chip is placed under your pet’s skin and holds a unique ID number. If your pet gets lost, shelters and vets can scan it to quickly reach you—helping reunite you with your furry friend faster. 🏡💙

To make sure it works:
* Register the chip with the National Pet Microchip Registry or the manufacturer database.
* Use AAHA Pet Microchip Lookup to find which registry a lost pet’s chip is in.
* Update your info anytime you move or change phone numbers.
* Check annually—ask your vet to scan your pet’s chip during check-ups to ensure it’s still working and in place.

It’s National Pet ID Week! 🐾

Help keep your furry friends safe with these tips:
• Add identification to your pet’s collar.
• Consider getting a microchip—or if they already have one, make sure your contact info is up to date.
• Keep your pet’s microchip brand, 1-800 number, and microchip number in an easily accessible place.
• Keep current photos of your pets for quick identification.

A little prep can make a big difference in reuniting with your pets if they ever get lost. 🏡💙

Giving your cat a pill doesn’t have to feel like a wrestling match 🐱💊

Try these tips to make it easier:
• Hide it in a treat or a small bite of food
• Use a pill pocket or a little bit of wet food
• Gently hold your cat’s head, tilt slightly up, and place the pill at the back of the tongue
• Follow with a treat or water to help it go down

And remember—stay calm and patient (they can sense your stress 😅)

Having trouble? Give us a call—we’re happy to help or talk through other options!

It’s National Pet ID Week! 🐾💙

A collar and ID tag might seem small, but they can make a huge difference if your pet ever gets lost. Microchipping is even better—it’s permanent and can help reunite you with your furry friend faster.

Take a moment this week to check your pet’s ID info, update tags, or schedule a microchip appointment. Because every pet deserves to come home safely! 🏡

Did you know pets are experts at hiding pain and illness?

While some signs are easy to spot, it’s often the small, subtle changes that can signal something isn’t quite right.

The good news? We offer options to help keep your pet comfortable, including Solensia and Librela injections for pain management.
