It may be winter, but with these warmer temperatures, pests like fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes aren’t taking a break! ❄️➡️🌞 This is exactly why we recommend keeping your pets on year-round heartworm, flea, and tick prevention here in Minnesota.

✅ Ticks can be active any time it’s above freezing. Even a few warm days in winter can bring them out, putting your pet at risk for Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses.

✅ Fleas don’t care about the weather! They can infest your home and your pet any time of year—and trust us, prevention is much easier than dealing with an outbreak.
