**ARGOS HAS BEEN ADOPTED!**

Thank you so much to everyone who shared his post and helped us get the word out.

We are incredibly happy to say that Argos has already been adopted and is officially in his new forever home.

His meeting with his new family went great, and he is already doing fantastic. (Currently helping his owner mow the lawn, in his new giant backyard!) After everything this sweet boy went through, it feels pretty amazing to know he finally has a family of his own.

No more sleeping in a kennel at the clinic. Argos is home.

Thank you again to everyone who shared, commented, tagged friends, and helped make this happen.

As soon as we get some updates, we will post photos of Argos living his best life in his new home.

**ARGOS HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! - SEE NEW POST**
**Argos has been waiting for someone who never came back. 💔**

About a month ago, Argos was dumped at our clinic.

He had a microchip, so we thought surely someone was looking for him. We called. We texted. We emailed. We tried every way we could to reach the people his chip was registered to.

No one ever answered.

We eventually sent a certified letter notifying them that Argos had been abandoned.

Still nothing.

So Argos waited.

And honestly, this sweet boy deserved a whole lot better than that.

When he arrived, he was in terrible shape and absolutely **infested with intestinal worms and fleas, and skinny**. He clearly hadn't been getting the care he needed. But through all of it, Argos remained one of the sweetest, happiest dogs you could ask for.

And just look at that face. ❤️

Today, Argos is a different dog. He's healthy, **neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and officially ready to find the family that won't give up on him.**

🐾 About 1 year old
🐾 Around 40 pounds
🐾 German Shepherd/Beagle-ish mix
🐾 Very sweet and affectionate
🐾 Does GREAT with other dogs
🐾 Cats are probably questionable, so a cat-free home may be best
🐾 Fully vetted and ready to go

**Comes fully equipped with his favorite toy, which is a bull stuffed animal that he carries everywhere **

For the last month, our clinic has been his home. He gets attention. He gets fed. He has a big comfy bed. Everyone loves him.

But at the end of the day, **he still sleeps in a kennel at an animal hospital.**

Argos doesn't need another temporary place to stay.

He needs someone who looks at that ridiculous happy face and says, **"You're coming home with me."**

He has already been left behind once. We'd really, really like to make sure it never happens again.

There’s nothing better than meeting a new puppy! 🐶❤️

Those first few months are a lot of fun, but they’re also an important time for getting your puppy off to a healthy start. At their puppy visits, we’ll make sure vaccinations are on schedule, check their growth and development, discuss parasite and heartworm prevention, and answer all those new-puppy questions that inevitably come up.

And yes, we expect plenty of wiggles, kisses, and occasionally some strong opinions about being on the exam table. 😂
