💚 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 💚

We’re continuing our celebration by highlighting another one of our amazing team members — Savannah, one of our talented Veterinary Technicians here at VCA Stafford Oaks Animal Hospital! 🐾

✨ Meet Savannah:
Savannah’s journey into veterinary medicine began while working as a receptionist. Watching the technicians at work sparked her curiosity — and before long, she was jumping in to help wherever she could. That hands-on experience led to her true calling: becoming a veterinary technician.

Since joining the field in August 2022, Savannah has fallen in love with every aspect of patient care. She’s passionate about client education, phlebotomy, and ear cleanings, and she takes great pride in caring for each pet as if they were her own. One of her favorite parts of the job is building trust with nervous patients through fear-free techniques and helping them feel safe and loved. 💕

Savannah is currently working toward her degree in veterinary medicine with the goal of becoming a licensed technician, and we couldn’t be prouder of her dedication and growth. 🌟

🎉 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 🎉

This week we’re celebrating our incredible team of Veterinary Technicians who go above and beyond every single day to care for our patients and support our hospital team. 💚

We’re kicking things off by spotlighting Deborah, our amazing Licensed Veterinary Technician and Technician Supervisor here at VCA Stafford Oaks Animal Hospital!

🐾 Meet Deborah:
Deborah earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology from Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus in 2016 and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in 2017. That same year, she joined the VCA family, bringing with her a passion for small animal medicine, a dedication to helping pet parents make informed healthcare decisions, and a talent for developing skilled, confident Veterinary Technicians.

When she’s not mentoring her team or caring for patients, Deborah enjoys spending time with her furry family — five rescued cats: Pasta, Chessie, Raisin, Monster, and Keaton. 🐱💚

Thank you, Deborah, for your leadership, compassion, and all that you do to make Stafford Oaks such a special place. We’re so lucky to have you!
