We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news from WAAC!
Dr. Haffey, Dr. Novosad, and Dr. Dany are now officially CPR certified in Advanced Animal CPR through Watermark’s CE at Texas A&M. 🐾❤️
They recently completed advanced, hands-on training focused on life saving techniques for pets experiencing cardiac or respiratory emergencies. Not only have they earned this important certification, but they have also brought back invaluable knowledge, enhanced skills, and updated protocols that strengthen our entire team and elevate the level of care we provide.
At WAAC, we are deeply committed to continuing education and remaining at the forefront of veterinary medicine because your pets deserve the very best care, especially in life’s most critical moments.
Please join us in congratulating our outstanding doctors on this achievement! We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Karen with Watermark for helping make this continuing education opportunity possible. We are truly grateful for your support. 🫶🏽

Hello!
We wanted to provide a quick update regarding the upcoming winter storm. At this time, we are still planning to remain open during our regular business hours. As always, the safety of your pet comes first, so we will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and keep you informed of any changes.

For our boarding families, please don’t be concerned, we have multiple staff members who live within walking distance of the clinic to ensure all boarders are cared for in the event of snow or hazardous conditions.

If weather conditions become too unsafe for staff to travel by vehicle, we may operate with limited staff and will notify you directly regarding any affected appointments. Please know that we are taking every precaution to ensure all pets remain safe, comfortable, and warm.

We will continue monitoring the weather and will send updates via email or text message as needed. At this time, we plan to remain fully operational unless conditions require otherwise.

Keep pets indoors and warm.
Ensure they have access to food, water, and any medications. If you need medication, please don't hesitate to contact us.
If using a generator, keep pets away from cords and fumes.
Stay Warm,
