Some days in pet loss grief 🌈 are not the days for pushing yourself, solving everything, or trying to be the strongest person in the room.
They are the days where your nervous system may already be carrying more than it can comfortably hold.
Pet Grief is not only emotional. It can be physically exhausting, mentally noisy, and incredibly overstimulating.
Even simple things like replying to messages, making decisions, preparing food, or leaving the house can suddenly feel far bigger than they normally would.
That matters because when we keep expecting our grieving self to function like our non-grieving self, we often add another layer of pressure onto an already heavy day.
Sometimes the most supportive thing is not asking, how do I get through everything? It is asking, what feels manageable right now?
Small choices can help reduce emotional load (even by a small bit and trust me when I say, small bits matter), support a dysregulated nervous system, and create tiny moments of steadiness when your day feels like too much.
Not because these things remove grief. But because you still deserve care inside it. 🤍
📌Save for the hard days that catch you off guard.
