The challenge of the day, canter into the round pen circle around and canter out. This was the first time doing this and Payton was good at communicating with Ralph to do something new and not normally allowed. takes

The long shadows of Fall… daylight hours are getting shorter but lessons will still go on. I’ll have more group lessons to fit in all the riders who can only ride in the evening. Christmas break if the weather cooperates, we’ll have some fun group lessons during the day to get in as much riding time as possible!

Barn cat life. Caterina is smaller than Rhea but she rules the tack room. He jumped up and she swatted him off then used a rein to tie her hips up??

Shine and Maddie did awesome things today! Maddie’s first big jump (it was a ground pole but Shine wanted to jump) Maddie said good thing I was western or I would have fallen off. At least she was laughing and having fun🤗

This is so cool! Soldano holds a special place in our hearts and we hope to have an amazing gift coming in June from him….

"Salve" to Soldano, our Celebration Horse for BreyerFest 2027: Italia! 🇮🇹
The Murgese is one of Italy's most beloved horse breeds, but they are a rare sight outside of the country's borders. Soldano, a four-year-old stallion, has the distinction of being the first Murgese to set foot on North American soil. He displays the distinctive blue roan coat that the breed is known for.
When owner Samantha Hauke was looking for her next adventure, she stumbled upon the Murgese breed and was instantly hooked. In 2023, Samantha imported Soldano from Italy to her farm in Montana. In addition to competing in dressage, the athletic Soldano enjoys trail riding, camping, working equitation, and has even ponied other horses in the mountains! Samantha says he handles new situations with ease and shows a willingness to try anything. His adaptability under saddle and versatility are testaments to the Murgese breed.
We are thrilled to introduce BreyerFest attendees to this rare breed, and look forward to welcoming Soldano and Samantha to BreyerFest 2027, held July 16th-18th, 2027 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY and online at BreyerHorses.com where you can also view his video today!
Soldano's Traditional (1:9 scale) model will be included with select BreyerFest tickets, which will be available for purchase starting in early 2027. We hope you join us - ciao!

It takes a lot of work to get this dirty! I haven’t had such a dirty horse in a long time. At least she is short so I can easily brush her back off. She had feathers and bird poo on her!
