Horses can get sunburned too! Especially those with light-colored skin, pink noses, or white markings. Watch for redness, peeling skin, sensitivity, or hair loss around the face and muzzle during the warmer months.

Help protect your horse by:
☀️ Providing shade during peak sun hours
☀️ Using equine-safe sunscreen on sensitive areas
☀️ Applying UV-protective fly masks or sheets
☀️ Keeping skin clean and hydrated

A little prevention goes a long way toward keeping your horse healthy and comfortable all summer long!

A closer look at a standing ovariectomy with Dr. Alvaro. 🐴🔬 This mare presented with an enlarged left o***y, and our team performed a precise, minimally invasive procedure, all while she remained safely standing!

With advanced techniques and careful monitoring, we’re able to address conditions like this while prioritizing comfort, safety, and a smooth recovery.

Two tiny miracles and one amazing team effort. ✨🐴

When these twins arrived outside of Columbia, our field service team jumped into action over the weekend, followed by continued care from our specialist team the next week. Cases like this take patience, expertise, and a whole lot of heart. We’re thankful to report these precious babies are doing well today!
