February Is Dental Month 🦷—Send Us a Photo for a FREE Dental Estimate!

February is just around the corner, and that means Dental Health Month at our hospital!

Dental disease is one of the most common (and most overlooked) health issues we see in both dogs and cats—yet it can have a big impact on your pet’s overall health and comfort.
Did you know that most pets over the age of 3 already have some degree of dental disease?

Bad breath, red or bleeding gums, tartar buildup, difficulty eating, and even changes in behavior can all be signs that your pet’s mouth needs attention. Left untreated, dental disease can lead to pain, infection, and can even affect the heart, liver, and kidneys.

🦷 NEW & EASY: FREE Dental Estimate by Photo!

To make things simple, we’re offering FREE dental estimates—all you need to do is:
Take a clear photo of your dog’s or cat’s cheek teeth (lifting the side lip is perfect!) We will need one photo from each side.

Email the photo to us at [email protected]

Our veterinary team will review it and provide a dental estimate and recommendations.

When you schedule a dental cleaning in February, you’ll receive:

We are Rocket City Mobile Vet (RCMV) & Rocket City Veterinary Hospital (RCVH) & Rocket City Veterinary Hospital Pine Grove (RCVHPG) which are sister hospitals where one is a strictly mobile veterinary hospital and the other 2 are brick-and-mortar facilities in Madison, AL.

RCMV operates on a house call basis and offers the Gayle Henley Memorial Wellness Clinic once a month for the community who makes less than $35,000/year. RCVH and RCVHPG are our brick-and-mortar locations which work with several location rescues.

We are dedicated to providing out of this world pet care to our patients and their families!

MUST be able to lift heavier dogs
Draw blood
Educate clients on their pets' well-being
The ability to place IV catheters and run anesthesia would be a big plus
*Performing medication drop-outs (must have a clean driving record and current driver's license)

We have a full-time position available.

With roughly 36-40 hours per week.

We operate Monday – Friday 7am – 6 pm & Saturday 8 am to 12pm.

Previous veterinary experience needed.

I take a week every year to celebrate and reward my hardworking staff. It's our Veterinary Staff Appreciation Week, and we will be celebrating it this week from October 13th - 17th. During this week, we will have special hours.

The Slaughter Road location hours will be as follows:

Monday: 7 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM.
Tuesday: 7 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM.
Wednesday: 7 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM.
Thursday: 7 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM.
Friday: 7 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM.

Our Pine Grove location hours will be as follows:

Monday: 7 AM - 11:45 AM and 2:15 PM to 6 PM.
Tuesday: 7 AM - 11:45 AM and 2:15 PM to 6 PM
Wednesday: 7 AM - 11:45 AM and 2:15 PM to 5 PM
Thursday: 7 AM - 11:45 AM and 2:15 PM to 6 PM

Our mobile unit will also have limited appointments that week.
