You see, life isn’t always about making giant leaps. Sometimes it’s about taking those little steps, showing up when it’s difficult and believing that your efforts will eventually bloom into something beautiful.

✨ Be persistent enough to chase what sets your soul on fire.

✨ Be consistent enough to nurture what you’ve worked so hard to achieve.

✨ Be grateful enough to recognize the blessings you already have while making room for more.

Because here’s the beautiful thing about gratitude…

When you appreciate what you have, you begin to notice just how much you truly have to appreciate.

Keep showing up. Keep growing. Keep giving thanks.

And remember, sweet friends, sometimes the greatest success isn’t getting more… it’s learning to find joy in what you’ve already been given.

🍁 Jesus Wants Your Heart, Not Your Perfection. 💛

Jesus doesn’t care if you wear black or dress differently from everyone else.

He doesn’t require fancy words, perfect prayers or religious terminology to hear your heart.

He doesn’t measure your worth by how much money you put in the offering plate.

He isn’t frightened away by tattoos, piercings, scars or a past you’re not particularly proud of.

And those mistakes you’ve made along the way? Honey, He already knows about every single one of them and He loves you anyway. ❤️

Because Jesus didn’t come looking for perfect people. He came to save imperfect people.

In 1 Samuel 16:7, we’re reminded that people look at outward appearances but the Lord looks at the heart.

And in Luke 5:32, Jesus tells us He didn’t come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.

You see, there’s a beautiful difference between religion and relationship.

Religion can become about appearances, rules and trying to prove you’re worthy.

A relationship with Jesus begins with realizing you could never earn His love, because He’s already offering it freely.

Now, does Jesus want to change you? Absolutely!

But here’s the beautiful part…

You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to Jesus. You come to Jesus, and you allow Him to begin the beautiful work of changing you from the inside out. 🌸

Read His Word. Get to know His heart. Talk to Him like someone who loves you, because He does.

And remember…

Jesus isn’t asking you to be someone else before you come to Him. He’s inviting you to become who God created you to be through Him.

Come as you are. Just don’t be surprised when His love transforms who you become. ❤️

🎂 Today Is My Birthday! 🪻

And as I celebrate another trip around the sun, I find myself asking a question that has very little to do with getting older…

What am I doing to make this life worth living?

And the answer came surprisingly easy.

I have a happy life, a grateful heart and I absolutely LOVE telling people about Jesus! 💛

But today I find myself wondering about something a little deeper.

What is the biblical significance of my name? My birthdate? The experiences, the people, the blessings and even the heartbreaks that have shaped the person I’ve become?

Could it be that every twist, every turn, every mountain climbed and every valley walked through has been gently guiding me toward my God-chosen path?

I believe there’s something beautiful about looking back and realizing that what once seemed like a detour may have actually been divine direction.

Psalm 139:16 reminds us that God knew our days before even one of them came to be.

What a comforting thought! 🦋

I don’t believe my purpose is to have all the answers. I believe it’s to keep learning, keep loving, keep laughing and keep sharing the goodness of God along the way.

And goodness gracious, what a wonderful life it’s been!

A life filled with adventures, belly laughs, unexpected blessings, treasured memories and the people and places that have made my heart feel most at home.

Not a perfect life, mind you. But a beautifully blessed one.

So today, I’m not counting candles. I’m counting blessings.

I’m not worrying about how many years I’ve lived. I’m celebrating how much LIFE I’ve been blessed to experience.

And if God grants me another trip around the sun, I hope to spend it doing more of what makes my heart happy…

Loving people, sharing Jesus, making memories and leaving a little more kindness in this world than I found.

Because at the end of this beautiful adventure, I don’t want to be remembered for how long I lived.

I want to be remembered for how much love I gave while I was here.

Here’s to another chapter of a life God is still writing!

🌸 Not everyone is going to like you, and that’s perfectly okay!

Here’s a little reminder that might set your heart free today…

You don’t need to be liked by people who don’t even like themselves. 💛

Sometimes the way people treat you has very little to do with who you are and everything to do with the battles they’re fighting within themselves.

People who struggle to find peace within often have a difficult time recognizing the beauty in others.

But here’s the beautiful part… You don’t have to dim your light just because someone else is uncomfortable with their own darkness. ✨

Keep being kind. Keep being genuine. Keep showing up as the wonderful, imperfect, ever-growing person you are.

And remember, you can have compassion for someone’s struggles without making their opinion your responsibility.

Your worth isn’t determined by who approves of you, and your peace shouldn’t depend on who likes you.

Some people will love your sunshine, and others will complain that it’s too bright.

Shine anyway, Sunshine! ☀️🌻

🌸 God Is a Gentleman… He Won’t Force His Way Into What You Refuse to Surrender. 🌸

Have you ever prayed for God to help you with something, only to turn around and keep trying to fix it yourself?

We say, “Lord, I’m giving this to You,” but then we pick it right back up, worry over it, lose sleep over it and try to figure out every little detail.

And I can almost imagine God lovingly whispering, “Are you finished trying to do My job yet?”

Here’s something worth remembering…

God doesn’t need our help being God. He wants our trust.

He’s not going to wrestle you for control. He lovingly invites you to surrender what was never yours to carry alone.

Proverbs 3:5 reminds us:

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Sometimes faith isn’t about doing MORE. It’s about trusting God enough to do LESS.

Less worrying.
Less controlling.
Less trying to force an outcome.

And a whole lot more praying, trusting, and allowing God to work in ways we cannot yet see.

You can’t fully surrender something while still insisting on controlling every part of it.

So today, whatever you’ve been carrying, place it in God’s hands.

And here’s the hard part…

Leave it there.

Because surrender isn’t giving up. It’s giving it to the One who never gives up on YOU.

🌸 Sometimes the lesson comes AFTER the decision. 🌸

How do you know you’ve made the wrong decision until you’ve actually made it?

You thought it through. You weighed your options. You trusted your instincts. You made the best decision you could with the information you had at the time.

And then life happened.

Suddenly, what once seemed so right doesn’t feel quite right anymore.

But here’s something worth remembering…

Hindsight has a clarity that foresight simply doesn’t. 💛

It’s easy to look back and question what we should have done differently. But we can’t expect yesterday’s version of ourselves to have the wisdom that only today’s experiences could teach us.

Not every decision will lead us where we hoped to go. Some will lead us to lessons we never knew we needed.

And sometimes what feels like a wrong turn is simply life teaching us how to navigate the next one.

So give yourself a little grace. You weren’t foolish for believing something would work out. You were brave enough to make a choice without knowing the ending.

A decision that didn’t work out isn’t necessarily a wasted decision. Sometimes it’s where wisdom begins.

Remember, you can make a decision with confidence and still change your mind with wisdom.

That’s Not Failure, My Friends. That’s Growth. 🌱

🌱 Sometimes what looks like destruction is actually transformation.

Think about a tiny seed. Before it can become everything it was created to be, it must first come completely undone.

Its shell cracks. Its protective covering breaks apart. Everything familiar changes.

To someone who doesn’t understand the process, it might look like the seed is being destroyed.

But nature knows something we often forget…

Sometimes you have to break open before you can bloom.

And isn’t life the same way?

Sometimes the very things that shake us, stretch us and leave us feeling like we’re falling apart are actually making room for something beautiful to grow.

Not every breaking is a breaking down. Sometimes it’s a BREAKING THROUGH!

So if life feels a little messy right now, remember that growth isn’t always pretty, comfortable or easy.

And just because you don’t recognize the person you’re becoming doesn’t mean you’re losing yourself.

You might just be growing into the person you were always meant to be.

Keep growing, beautiful souls. Even the tiniest seed holds the promise of something extraordinary. 🌱

🌸 Just a friendly little reminder… 😂

When you ask me what I’m doing later and I say “nothing,” please don’t mistake that for an invitation to make plans. 🤭

Because NOTHING is the plan. NOTHING is the activity. And NOTHING has already been penciled into my very busy schedule! 😂

I’ve got a hot date with my comfy clothes, absolutely nowhere to be and a long list of things I have no intention of doing. 🥰

And here’s the beautiful thing about getting older and a little wiser…

You realize that being available doesn’t mean you’re obligated to be accessible.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is absolutely NOTHING and enjoy every glorious minute of it!

So if you need me, I’ll be over here minding my own business, recharging my batteries and giving my peace and quiet the attention it deserves.

🌸 Believe Before You Receive 🌸

Mark 11:24
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

There is something incredibly powerful about a heart that continues to believe, even when the eyes cannot yet see. 💛

Faith isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about trusting the One who does.

Sometimes we pray and expect God to move immediately. But what if the waiting isn’t a sign that God isn’t listening? What if He’s working in ways we cannot yet understand?

Remember, a delay is not necessarily a denial and silence does not mean absence.

Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep trusting.

Not because God promises to give us everything we want, exactly when we want it but because He promises to hear us and lovingly guide us according to His perfect wisdom.

And here’s something beautiful to remember…

Faith doesn’t mean believing God will do everything our way. Faith means believing His way is always worth trusting. 🌷

So today, don’t let what you cannot see cause you to doubt what you know about God.

His timing is purposeful.
His wisdom is greater.
And His love never fails.
