Santa came, the cats posed (…mostly 😌), and our hearts are very full.

Our sweet foster Sadie is finally cleared for adoption! We found her with an injury to her front foot and has been recovering with us while we figure out what was going on. It's looking like she will have some ongoing limping from nerve/muscle damage but she's not bothered by it and isn't in pain.

She is very active, playful and silly, purrs constantly and loves snuggling too. She loves feathers and spring toys and everyone who has met her has fallen in love with her.

She'll be back with EASEL Animal Rescue League in Ewing this weekend, so fill out their application if you are interested in her! We also hope she'll come visit us once she's found her forever home 😻

Sweet Runa is back in the salon after completing treatment for lymphoma in her nasopharyngeal area, and she handled her groom like an absolute champ.

In the video you’ll see her full bath and blow dry, plus a throwback photo of her teeth from two years ago… which were rough. I can’t help but wonder if chronic dental inflammation played a part in her diagnosis. There’s so much we still don’t fully understand with feline health, and I love hearing what cat owners and vet professionals have experienced.

✨ Winter grooming doesn’t have to mean “no haircuts!” ✨
This gorgeous Persian came in with a coat that needed a fresh start, so we gave her a tidy lion cut using our trusty Wahl Bravuras. She strutted out looking very pleased with herself.

And yes—indoor cats stay perfectly cozy after a shave. As long as your kitty lives in a temperature-controlled home, a winter haircut is totally safe (and often way more comfortable for them!).

Give your cat a snuggle tonight… they’ll take all the extra warmth they can get. ❄️🐾

Our Story

Cat Naps Cattery offers feline-exclusive boarding and grooming services to Mercer County, NJ and the surrounding areas. Our grooming services are performed by grooming industry leader Lynn Paolillo, and our boarding suites are custom-designed with your cat's comfort and relaxation in mind.

While there are many wonderful facilities offering services for dogs, our feline friends can be left to fend for themselves! The journey through building and opening Cat Naps Cattery started with our love and devotion to creating a sanctuary that caters to the special needs of cats. Each boarding suite consists of a spacious room with vertical cat trees, shelves and plush bedding for them to explore. The kitty courtyard offers a variety of toys, treats, playtime activities and snuggling with our cat-loving staff. Our professional cat groomer Lynn has been grooming for over 12 years, with the last 6 spent as an instructor, groomer and certifier for the National Cat Groomers Institute.

We are dedicated to providing the best possible cat grooming and lodging services available. Our trained staff, onsite overnight presence, extensive safety and cleanliness standards keep our feline guests happy and comfortable, while providing our human clients with peace of mind while they’re away. The mission of Cat Naps Cattery is to maintain the highest standards for safety and care of family cats.
