We are heartbroken to share the passing of Dr. Lauren Semanchik, a cherished veterinarian and a beloved part of the Pet Meadow family. Her kindness, dedication, and compassion touched the lives of countless families—and we are deeply mourning this loss alongside her colleagues, clients, and loved ones.

In honor of her memory and legacy, a GoFundMe has been created to support her family during this time.

Rest in peace, Dr. Semanchik. You will be dearly missed.

💔 It is with heavy hearts that we share with our clients and community the tragic passing of our beloved Dr. Lauren Semanchik. Not only was Lauren a phenomenal veterinarian, she was one of the kindest souls you could ever encounter and a friend to us all.

While we have much more we can say regarding our thoughts, feelings and heartfelt stories of Dr. Semanchik, we will take a moment with our staff to navigate through this unprecedented process and remain closed this week, reopening on MONDAY 8.11.25.

We ask for patience as our Long Valley Animal Hospital family mourns this devastating loss.
One of our team members will reach out directly if you had an upcoming appointment with us this week. We will share information regarding donations in her honor and a memorial in the near future.

I got Snoopy in Florida. It was 2006. He was from a litter, and when I saw his eyes, I knew he was mine.

For 18 years, he was loyal, protective. My favorite thing was how he laid on me like a baby every time I picked him up.

If he was still here, I’d tell him I feel bad. That you got old and sick. And I wish we could have had forever together.
