🍁 Thanksgiving Holiday Hours 🍁

Mercerville Animal Hospital will close on Wednesday at 6:00 PM for the Thanksgiving holiday.
We will reopen on Friday at 7:30 AM.

If your pet needs any medication refills, please call us as early as possible so we can ensure everything is ready before the holiday.

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a good November as Thanksgiving approaches 🦃

Just wanted to remind everyone the importance of keeping up with your flea and tick (and heartworm!) prevention, even in these colder months!
Ticks can stay active above ~35–40°F (1–4°C). Mild winters allow them to feed all season. Flea eggs, larvae, and pupae survive indoors, making infestations possible any time of year. Wildlife (deer, mice, raccoons) remain active in fall/winter and carry ticks into your yard.

Skipping winter prevention can allow parasites to re-establish, leading to infestations or disease. 🤒

One of our staff went for a walk this week in Mercer county, and saw an absurd amount of ticks (more than 30! 😬)

If anyone is planning to call in for a food order in the next couple of weeks, please let us know no later than TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH to receive your food before Thanksgiving.
