Sophie blessed us with a beautiful litter of 7 on Friday. Mom and puppies doing well.

We have started to contact families from our wait lists for Lulu and Sophie's litter. We should know in a few days if we have any pups available.

Today has been a very busy day.
Not only did Lulu bless us with 9 beautiful puppies ( 7 boys, 2 girls) but we were also blessed with our granddaughter today.
All before 3am .......
We will be reaching out to families on our wait list once we catch up on some sleep.
We tag teamed it so Brian whelped the puppies while I was at the hospital waiting the arrival of Josie. Today Taylor Rynda stayed with the pups so Brian and I could head to the hospital to spend some time there together. Then Brian relieved Taylor so she and Jake could head to hospital.
Raising puppies is not something that can be done without supervision, hands on care 24/7. Especially the first few weeks when it's so easy for Mom to lay on a pup, and the weight of each pup being monitored throughout the day to make sure puppies are nursing and getting what they need. The first 2 days we let mom get in her grove, and we lay low on handling to much except to weight and make sure latching etc. But day 3 we start ENS , INS, desensitizing, and so many things throughout the 8 weeks we have them.
Sofie is due in about 4 days so the fun and chaos is just beginning. We are ready and can't wait!

We are happy to report that LuLu and Sofie are both pregnant.
Pups due mid to end of May. They will be about 5 days in-between litters just like last time. We are lucky enough that one of our Daughters will be off work for the summer and will be helping us with the puppies during the 8 weeks we get them ready to go to their new homes.
We have quite the wait list so once puppies are born and we see # and males vs females we will know if we have any remaining spots open.
Two males will be going to the Service dog company we work with so that's super exciting.
Summer litters are the best. They will spend so much time outside which they love. FYI our last May litter absolutely love water. We had them in the water for last 3 weeks and they couldn't get enough. So if you rather not have a water dog these litters may not be for you 😂

We had our vet visits today for our older litter. Clean bill of health for all 11.
Even little orange is good to go weighing in at 5 pounds, white is just over that and the. The rest are up to 10 pounds.
We have one female look for her perfect lap to snuggle on. Message for more information. She is ready Dec 30th.
We also have a male and a female available from younger litter going home Jan 5.

Today was puppy visit day. The puppies are exhausted, we are exhausted but it was so much fun. For me to be able to sit back and watch the puppies interact with everyone, be around a lot of new toys for them, and just watch is so extremely important. This helps us to determine the outgoing ones, the shy ones( which we don't have) the Energizer bunnies, the ones that have great problem solving skills, the ones that could care less about the little kids that were and the the ones that ran up and embraced the fact that there were kids here. This helps us make sure that the right pup goes home with the right family!
Thank you to all the families that made the trek here today. Some as far as 5 hours. We appreciate our puppy families and today we got to meet some of our new puppy families and we got to see a few of our repeat families today. Just a great day.
We did have another change to a later litter in spring or next fall so we again have a male and now 2 females available.
