The intent of posting this is to purely emphasize the importance of grooming.
The cute cuts and pictures are simply a fun benefit. Grooming is primarily for the health and well being of our pets. Not just physical but also mental. Depression, anxiety, discomfort are just a small part but extremely important, nonetheless.
Regular grooming for breeds that need their hair cut and cared for is imperative. It may be a hassle at times, but its a vital part of owning these types of breeds.
I’m only posting this to inform owners that might think having their dogs coats grow out for months isn’t a big deal, but the truth is, its detrimental to their health if not taken care of before it becomes inhumane.
If money is tight, it is completely understandable as it is this time of year for many of us. Don’t let that be an issue when it comes to the health of an animal. I’m more than happy to work with anyone and have had several generous customers donate to a fund for these situations. And complete discretion and zero judgement are guaranteed.
Just a few of the health effects are extreme sores from the tight matting against the skin, the damp hair pressed up to the skin not being able to dry properly for extended periods of time giving painful irritating rashes, extreme dermatitis, hair loss underneath the thick mats from not being able to ‘breathe’ or properly stimulated, ear infections and hearing impairment, eye infections and sight impairment, dental and mouth problems from hair impeding eating and hair wound up into gums, bathroom and bowel issues from hair blocking from being able to completely evacuate, infections on the ge****ls, constipation from not evacuating sometimes leading to eventual diarrhea (this was the cause in some of the last pictures, which led to a painful rash as the wet acidic f***s were trapped under the extreme mats after not being able to properly have a full bowel movement). Feet with extreme thick matting impairing walking, wet clumps not drying properly leading to painful ‘swamp foot’ pads, nails growing too long that walking is hindered, sometimes curling into the pads or twisting the toes sometimes permanently.
Again, I sincerely want to emphasize this post is not to shame, disgust, anger, or cause any distress to anyone. Only to inform what many don’t see until its brought to attention.
The cute looks are simply the fun extra benefit of grooming. The most important is for their best health!
