🤎 **GENIE** 🤎
*Registered Yearling Filly | Estimated 14.1–14.3hh*

Every cowgirl remembers **that one horse she grew up with.** The one she taught, trusted, made mistakes with, learned from, and eventually built a partnership with.

Maybe Genie gets to be that horse for someone. ✨

This cute little registered filly was just brought in off pasture and is getting started on all the basics. She’s been doing a great job with her halter training and gentling, and we’re enjoying getting to know her personality.

She’s young. She’s green. She still has a whole lot of growing and learning to do.

And that’s exactly what makes her special.

You get the chance to **start with a clean slate, build your own bond, and make her into the kind of horse you’ve always dreamed of.** No rushing. No expectations. Just a young horse, a willing heart, and a whole lot of possibilities. 🐴🤎

Meet Muffin 🧁

Muffin | 12-year-old grade QH gelding | 15.2hh

If you’re looking for a good, honest, well-broke gelding with some buttons, take a look at Muffin. He’s the kind of horse that makes you think, “Yep… I could have a lot of fun with this guy.”

Muffin is a GOOD boy. He has great ground manners, is easy to handle, respectful, and just pleasant to have around. Under saddle, he’s soft, responsive, and has that fancy ranch-horse feel. He neck reins, has a big stride, and is a very nice mover.

He would make a great all-around mount for someone wanting to trail ride, enjoy some ranch riding, or have a horse with enough buttons to go play around at some local shows.

And when it comes to trail riding, Muffin is a good one. He will ride out alone and is not buddy sour. He’s currently living on hay and pasture only—no grain—and he’s the bottom of the herd.

He’s also barefoot with good feet and is easy for the farrier.

Now, because we believe in being honest about our horses, here are Muffin’s quirks:

🐴 He can be hard to catch. Nothing dramatic—he may walk away a few steps and then decide, “Fine, you win.”

🐴 He can be a little goosey. I’ve experienced this twice, and both times were very specific situations. On his first ride here, I took my feet out of the stirrups and he gave a big flinch/jump. I repeated it several times and got no reaction. On his second ride, I reached back to pet his butt and got the exact same response. Repeated it again with no further issue.

My best guess is that he’s anticipating getting spanked when something comes toward his hindquarters. It is something I want a buyer to know about, but it has not continued to be a problem once he realizes what I’m doing.

Muffin is the kind of horse I think could really make someone a fun, versatile partner. He has a lot going for him, and I really like the way he rides.

I have a few personal horses to sell. In no particular order.

Penny - 6yr old grade mare, 14hh. She still rides around a little green (new) but I've hauled and ridden her all over this month! I really like this mare. W/t/l, neck rein. 55xx

Pandora- 12yr old registered aqha. Extremely fancy ranch broke, but is weak in hind end. Maybe ride time, maybe injections. If she's here come spring I'll do a full vetting. Asking only what I paid. 3###

Trixie - 17yr old quartet pony. Broke to ride, I took her to ND for a week. Lilah spent a summer winning wsca with her. We've been chasing heaves since Aug 2025. She's currently pasture and light riding sound. She is extremely buddy sour under saddle at this point. 1### with contract stating she'll come back here if needed.

Benny - 3yr old registered half Gypsy pony, just under 12hh. My kids rode him all over last fall w/t. Have only done lead line this year. 45xx

Twister - 4yr old registered aqha mare, roughly 14.1hh. She's been turned out the last year, ready to start your way! She's well bred, and gorgeous! Dun roan, how many of those do you see?! 55xx

Moonshine - 8yr old pony gelding, 13.1hh. Started in 2024/2025 winter. Was riding w/t/l. Has been ridden off and on since, only at a walk. He's started, but still a project at this point. 25xx

Jack

9yr old grade gelding • 16hh

Looking for one you can actually make your own without starting from scratch? Meet Jack — the kind that’s already got the buttons started, but still leaves room for you to put your personal stamp on him.

Jack had 60 days of professional training in January 2025 and has been ridden on and off since. He’s still considered green, but in the right hands or a consistent program, he’s going to come together into something really nice.

When he’s in a regular routine, Jack settles into a calm, easy ride — the kind you can just swing a leg over and enjoy. He’s got a cute jog and a smooth, effortless lope that makes him comfortable both English and western. He’s had a start on more advanced maneuvers too, so you can either polish him up or keep him simple and handy.

Jack is a confidence mirror — ride him like a seasoned horse, and he’ll rise to the occasion. Let him make the decisions, and he’ll remind you he’s still young in his training. Fair, honest, and responsive.

The details:

* Stands tied
* Trailers well
* Generally polite on the ground (may need a reminder on personal space if he’s been sitting)
* Good to work around
* Could use consistency with the farrier — not bad, just likes to test if he can get away with pulling his foot

Jack is best suited for someone who enjoys the process — whether that’s a rider wanting a project to finish out their way or a program that can keep him consistent and progressing.

If you’re looking for a solid, good-minded gelding with a foundation already in place and plenty of upside, Jack is one worth taking a look at.

DUSTY
8-year-old | 15hh | Dun Gelding

PENDING

Dusty is one of those horses that makes you wonder what kind of miles are already underneath him.

He’s said to have come from out West as a dude ranch horse, and honestly… he handles exactly like one. He knows what a long day is supposed to look like, knows how to get down the trail, and seems happiest when he has a job to do.

Dusty really shines out on the trail and in a group. He’s a great leader and will happily take the front of the pack. He will ride out alone, too — you just have to push him past that initial “Are you SURE we're leaving the barn?” conversation. Once he’s committed, he goes to work. Hauling him off-site is another easy way to get him headed down the trail.

He’s not an “in your pocket” horse YET. But I think that’s something that will come with time. Give this guy some treats, braid his mane, rub on him, throw in a regular massage… he’ll probably decide pretty quickly that people are actually pretty great.

And honestly, I like that about him. Because while he may not be your clingy best friend right now, he has excellent ground manners. He’s respectful, easy to handle, and knows how to behave.

I think Dusty would be happiest as a pull-out-and-go trail horse. That seems to be the lifestyle he knows and enjoys. I don't think his heart is set on spending every day doing heavy arena work, although a little arena riding here and there doesn't bother him at all.

Now for his one little quirk…
Dusty does not like being saddled tied. So we compromise. Untie him to saddle, and he’s perfectly happy. Saddle up, hop on, and go about your day.
Sometimes the best horses come with a little quirk. Dusty’s just happens to be one that’s incredibly easy to work around.

He currently wears shoes and is great for the farrier — shoeing is no problem at all. Depending on your riding terrain, I could see him potentially going barefoot as well.

Dusty isn't trying to be the fanciest horse in the arena.

He’s the guy you want when you want to throw a saddle on, point him down the trail, and put some miles behind you.
