My Macey of River Ridge 4/29/2009-12/10/2024

There are not enough words to describe what this girl has meant to me and my family. Do the math and you will quickly realize she has been around longer than Blake.. She lived life to the fullest with her quirky personality. She was a babysitter when I needed to get chores done, she drew a crowd to the obedience ring because she ALWAYS had to put her own spin on things. She was a perfect momma and granny, and the best side kick and companion I could have ever asked for. When I brought you home all I wanted was a family/farm dog and you were absolutley so much more. Today you let me know it was time to let you go, and now you are pain free and hopefully running with Lilly and your babies and grand babies that passed before you.
You will be forever loved and never forgotten.

River and Blake earned River's DSX2 today at The Dog Tank's Polar Plunge. What else are you going to do with windchills hovering around -25°?
He did learn that maybe mom and Kyle are right and she's a bit overweight. Her jumps were about 2ft shorter than normal. A good reminder to pay attention to what he is feeding her and what she actually needs this time of year. Zoe jumped well. She's been throwing in an extra leap before the end of the dock so we have some work to do to train her back out of that habit. She started after a couple bad slips and is overcompensating.

Today a very nice lady reached out to me because she recently lost her 14+ year old Golden and is looking for one around 6 years old. I told her we are still enjoying all of our dogs and just can't give any up right now. If anyone knows of a female that meets this dicription please reach out to me and I'll give you her information. She has been approved by RAGOM but they do not have one to fit her needs at this time.

When Zoe first came back to us her swimming skills were lacking so we have always had her wear a life jacket. She is swimming like a pro now so we may try to have her jump without it this week!

OK we first have to say a belated Birthday to our 2019 Litter! Happy 4th Birthday to River and Crew.....we didn't forget but it's been a busy week! Kyle and I got married yesterday, Esox was our ring bearer and did his job perfectly!!!
