Mare Spotlight: Pita (Ethereal)

Pita is registered with the German Oldenburg Verband. Sire is Belissimo M and her Dam is by the amazing Sir Donnerhall I. She is an approved premium Westfalen Mare Book I as well as GOV at the perfect height of 16 hands.

Inspection comments of “well developed horse” and “Good top line” makes Pita a perfect match for our breeding program. Her frame, size and conformation means we can match her with any size stallion and not worry about breeding too heavy b***d foals. Her last foal Diavola is currently 2 and we can’t wait when she starts under saddle next year. She is in foal to Glorioso Noir for 2027.

As with our farm mares, she is extremely friendly and lovable. She works as a therapist for anyone needing a boost and thinks she has a bachelors degree in psychology.

She is still waiting! Momma Maia sounds like a wonderful, loving girl who is so ready for a real home. She is waiting for her adopter at Adopt-A-Pet of Shelton Washington . We are hoping today's round of shares finally finds her adopter 🤞🙏🐾

Introducing Momma Maia, a sweet, 9-year-old PitBull/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is as gentle as she is strong. At 55 pounds, this lovely lady is a true shelter volunteer favorite and an absolute love!

Maia is gentle and loving. She is a true cuddle queen who thrives on affection and companionship. She’s a bit timid with new people, but with calm movements and kind words, she’ll quickly warm up and be your best friend.

She’s quick to learn and is already house-trained with a doggy door. We recently learned she does amazing with free rein in a household, patiently and quietly waiting for her person to return. Maia doesn’t need much to be happy: a yard to play in, a couch to snuggle on, and a person to be her bestie.

People are Maia’s passion, and she has a gift for sensing when someone needs a little extra love. She’s a true companion who will always be there to lend a comforting paw.

Maia has not lived successfully with other dogs and is not fond of cats. She would love to be the Queen of her castle, and a secure, fenced yard is a must to keep her safe (she’s known to escape from unsecured yards). She is kid-friendly (age 13+) . Maia is great with children 13+ who are kind and dog-savvy.

Maia is the perfect companion for someone who can give her the love and attention she craves. With her gentle nature, strong bond with people, and zest for life, she’s ready to make someone’s home complete.

Werbellin is Produced from Hanoverian Motherline #33, thru G-Line mare Geduld, Werbellin’s Dam SPS LADY LAURIN has produced several States Premium mares. The Motherline is represented in the German Jumper Breeding program with 3 daughters scoring 8.9, 9, 9.5 This motherline has produced stallion sons Sao Paulo and Askan. SPS Lady Laurin’s sire, LEGAT is the damsire of Isabell Werth’s FEI Dressage Horse, SATCHMO, ranked 3rd on the FN list in 2007. Legat’s sire, Lanthan, is noted for the production of exceptional riding horses with good minds.

Werbellin is known to produce great minds in his offspring as well as longevity in performance.

Mare spotlight: First Say EPI (Gretchen)
Gretchen is registered Oldenburg NA and is approved Westfalen. She is mother to Wensleydale our newest filly.

Gretchen is by the influential Holsteiner dressage stallion Flemmingh. Her dam is by famous thoroughbred stallion Makor’s Mark who’s great wins were British Columbia Derby (G2), Seattle Slew, Washington Owners Breeders’ Cup, Budweiser Emerald, Mt. Rainier Breeders’ Cup. He had 11 wins out of 29 starts and a career earnings of $430,753 by 2003.

Gretchen is refinement mare. She has proven to refine any heavy stallions and is also one of our recipient mares. Gretchen adds great thoroughbred blood to our breeding program.
