Jai and Sully had a great first event of the season!!
Sully was quiet, calm and cool the whole weekend. Even walking back to the barn on a loose rein like no problem!
Had a lovely score of 31.5 in his Beginner Novice Dressage Test! His show jumping was so calm and collected. He went around and only had 1 rail only due to a unsure takeoff point. But so much better, we've been working really hard for him to feel balanced so he can be slow. Cross country was a true, fun little jaunt around the track. He was listening and waiting for the fences to come to him. Double clear on cross country for this handsome guy.

Jai was awesome in Open Training! His dressage score showed his tension but thats always a work in progress! Cross country he was a total rockstar, no hesitation to any questions and listening. Show jump, we had 3 unlucky rails due to him just getting strong to the distances, but overall the shape of his jump continues to get better.
He also ended the weekend in 6th place!
Next stop for the boys is Aspen Farms Horse Trials!!
