Thinking ahead to after school activities for the Fall? Horseback riding lessons in a covered arena is a GREAT idea! We are accepting new students, no previous experience required to get started. We teach beginner through advanced levels. Ages 4 through Adults - We'll help you sign up for the best lesson time for you!

CAMP INFO:
For horse-crazy kids from beginner to novice levels, this camp is packed with skill-building horsemanship, games, and daily riding lessons!

Students will gain confidence in horse handling while mastering the essentials.

Highlights include:
Knowledge: Horse, saddle, and bridle anatomy plus tack care.
Stable Management: Grooming, stall cleaning, and haltering safety.
Groundwork: Leading, steering, and navigating obstacles on foot.
In the Saddle: Proper rein work, two-point strength, steering patterns, and possible ba****ck riding.
Riding Skills: Mastering the halt and walk and getting an intro to (or continuing to learn how to) trot depending on level and confidence!

Team Red Solo Cup at our last horse show! Red showed in the Walk Trot 10 & Under with Charlotte and Walk Trot 11 & Over with Aiven and came out with ribbons for all! Charlotte even won a very competitive equitation class! He’s such a great lesson pony and show horse for our show team students and we love him to the moon and back!

We have an announcement! Starting this month, Leslie, owner and founder of Heart of Horsemanship, will be granting two scholarships every month! This post is to find May and June Winners!

Leslie’s Scholarships:
1) Student of the Month

For current students, get 4 bonus lessons to take alongside your regularly paid for lessons in one month. This will give you a boost of skills and saddle time to further reach your goals!

To apply:
A) Write to [email protected]
The student can write or a parent on behalf of the student. Tell us what horses mean to you/them, and what the extra lessons would mean to you.

B Send videos of your current riding to 253-802-2342 ask to be considered for the Student of the Month scholarship. Send 3 one minute long videos.

C) Parent leave us a google review!

D) Leslie will consult with your instructors, review submissions and we will announce each month’s winner between the 1st and 5th of each month. (This month’s winner will be announced by May 10th.)

Memorial Day weekend event!!! We have an exciting camp for you! We heard your requests and put it together! BARREL RACING and ROPING* for all levels! *Use our horses or haul in your own, same price for either choice!*

Taught by Enumclaw local stars: Sandra Fischer and Payton Clerget!

We will have 4 groups! About 6-8 people per learning level group so don't delay in signing up!

GROUP 1:
P*E WEE BEGINNERS! Camp is 10-1 on Saturday and Sunday and then the show prep and then the show for family and friends will be between 9am to 11 am on Memorial Day! AGES 4 through 7! Practice roping the roping dummies and getting good at rope handling and rope throwing skills! Get beginner horsemanship and riding lessons and get comfortable being lead through or walking through the barrel pattern on your own! Get time with goats, chickens, barn cats and have fun being in the ambiance of life on the ranch being a cowboy or cowgirl! $299

GROUP 2:
STANDARD BEGINNER GROUP: Camp 10-3 on Saturday and Sunday and then the show prep and showing for family and friends will be between 10am to 12pm on Memorial Day! AGES 8 and Up! Practice roping the roping dummies and getting good at rope handling and rope throwing skills! Get beginner horsemanship and riding lessons and get comfortable being lead through or walking through the barrel pattern on your own! Get time with goats, chickens, barn cats and have fun being in the ambiance of life on the ranch. $449

GROUP 3:
TROT-THROUGH GROUP: For riders who are already trotting (or above) independently only. Ages 8 and Up (younger riders allowed if they're riding independently at the trot or above!) Camp 10-3 on Saturday and Sunday and then the show prep and showing for family and friends will be between 11am to 1pm on Memorial Day! Practice roping the roping dummies and getting good at rope handling and rope throwing skills! For barrel lessons: learn drills, improve skills and techniques at a trot-through (and maybe a little canter depending!) You will learn a lot of skills to sky-rocket your learning and success! (Ride Heart of Horsemanship Horses OR Haul-In Your Own Horse! (Overnight stalls available) $449

GROUP 4:
GALLOP GROUP: For riders who are already cantering (or above) independently only. Ages 8 and Up. Camp 10-3 on Saturday and Sunday and then the show prep and showing for family and friends will be between Noon to 2pm on Memorial Day! Practice roping the roping dummies and getting good at rope handling and rope throwing skills! For barrel lessons: learn drills, improve skills and techniques and add speed to your runs. You will learn a lot of skills to sky-rocket your learning and success! (Ride Heart of Horsemanship Horses OR Haul-In Your Own Horse! (Overnight stalls available.) $449
