The Grinch showed up to ladies night uninvited, and called the laughter festive nonsense. He hogged the horses, made the baby cry and tried to sneak off with the wine. His heart is two sizes too small for ladies night!

Please help if you can! We have a fellow, local, Enumclaw family who was horribly impacted by the recent flooding. They miraculously survived as they were awoken to a mudslide that destroyed their home and belongings. Don the grandfather is a pillar in the horse community and has contributed greatly to the development of roping in our area. Please consider donating or sharing to help them rebuild their lives.

Anyone needing livestock shelter?

Due to ongoing extreme weather conditions, the Enumclaw Expo Center has been receiving requests from livestock owners seeking emergency sheltering options. After assessment, we have identified approximately 70 horse stalls suitable for temporary livestock shelter (excluding hogs and dogs).
Emergency shelter will be available beginning 3:00 PM today, December 10, 2025, and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis for the next 7 days. Additional access details and public-facing instructions are posted on our website.

Please note that overnight caretaker staffing is not available at this time. All ingress to the facility will be routed through Gate 6, located at the far southeast corner of the property, to ensure controlled access.
The Expo Center is happy to step up and support our community during this weather event. ☔️☔️☔️

We purchased these wonderful, detailed horse anatomy wall charts for our stable!!! They would make an excellent gift for any horse owner or stable!!! We will use them as a teaching tool in January when we move into the subject of horse anatomy.

So far we found they help with understanding the conformation of a horse and how it affects their movement.

They help to identify and understand injuries.
The dental chart helps kids age horses.
They also help with communication between veterinarians, farriers and their clients.

If you’re lucky enough to have a barn grandpa, be thankful.
Here at Thunder Rail, we have Grandpa Jim and we all know he is a gift. His kindness, wisdom, and generosity has touched ALL of us in one way or another and we are so grateful. We Love you Jim!
