Just an update on mega jazz. He was swabbed for EHV and a number of other things and everyone of them turned up negative. So we don't have an outbreak of anything here at the ranch.

We are all so sad here at MHS with the passing of Mega Jazz. But we are all sharing photos and memories of this exceptional boy. Here are some of his kids...all fillies but one. Plus one grandson. There are more, but these are the ones I have handy.

I am so sad to say that we lost Mega Jazz last night. We have no idea why. He arrived at the vet hospital in Phoenix about midnight and had to be euthanized almost immediately. He had gone from lethargic and depressed to violent and self harming in the trailer ride. There will be a necropsy. None of our horses have been off property and he was housed well away from the others. It is just so tragic and having no idea why is awful.

Yearling gelding, MHS Moondancer, aka Van, in his very furry state ready for winter. He is by Heavenly Starfore Genesis and out of Castleberrys Rebelle. He should be 14.1-2 when mature. He is a great mover and could make a good eventing pony. Nice reaching stride and very light in his action. He is offered for sale.

MHS Gwyn Taliesin, 2 year old welsh cob c**t. We are planning to geld him very soon. He is by Gwynfaes Culhwch and out of MHS Gypsy Jazz. He is full sibling to MHS Gypsy Dancer. His movement is fantastic and he is absolutely built to be a driving pony. Unlimited stamina. I am thinking a CDE pony? He will be 14 or 14.1. He is available for purchase.

We got to visit MHS Rhythm and Blues and his trainer Rachel Hoar last week up above Seattle. He's doing quite well, although truly not a fan of working out in the pouring rain. He does seem to be a big fan of cross country jumping, and we will also be looking into getting him driving. We have sold both of his daughters, so we will be lining up a breeding or two for him here this next spring. He is available AI frozen, and also possibly fresh if there is good notice ahead of time.
