Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

*Behavioral Medicine

Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We are trained in helping pets and their owners, deal with problems such as separation anxiety, thunderstorm phobias and obsessive behavior. We can help educate owners and then develop a treatment regimen for your pet.

*Bathing

Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning.

Hello Everyone,
It’s official! After nearly two long years—a time span during which puppies became seniors, kittens have grown into full-grown lions (or so they think), and our team aged a solid decade—we have finally opened the doors to our new space!

To make sure your next visit is seamless, here is your step-by-step guide on how to find us:

🚗 How to Get Here & Where to Park:
If you are traveling North on Concord Parkway/ HWY 29: Turn right onto Liske Ave.

If you are traveling South on Concord Parkway/ HWY 29: Turn left onto Liske Ave.

Entering the Parking Lot: Look for the first new paved driveway on your left—that leads to our new parking lot located at the rear of the building!

Finding the Front Door: Once you're in the rear lot, follow the driveway all the way down past the building, then look to your left—that’s where you’ll find our brand-new foyer entrance!

🚧 Pardon Our Dust (Seriously!): While our new space is open, we are still actively remodeling our old existing building. Because we remain an active construction site, we kindly ask that you do not use the old front or side parking areas unless absolutely necessary. Stick to the new rear lot and our new entrance to stay safe and out of the way of the hard hats!

Thank you all so much for your incredible patience and support throughout this long journey. We truly can’t wait to show off our new space to you and your pets!

Warmly,
The Team at Concord Parkway Animal Hospital

Today we honor Dewy, a cat who was so much more than just a clinic cat.
Dewy brought something special into this place every single day and that was love, chaos, and a kind of comfort that can’t really be put into words. He had a way of keeping us on our toes, making us laugh when we needed it most, and reminding us that even in the busiest, hardest moments, there was still room for joy.
He wasn’t always calm, and he certainly wasn’t always predictable. Dewy had his own way of doing things, his own personality, and his own way of making himself known. Sometimes that meant chaos and climbing where he shouldn’t, getting into what he wasn’t supposed to, or demanding attention exactly when you were busiest. But that chaos was part of his charm. It was part of what made him Dewy.
And through all of it, he always knew how to make you feel loved.
Whether it was brushing against your leg, curling up beside you, or simply sitting close when you were having a hard day, Dewy had a way of sensing what people needed. He gave comfort without words, love without conditions, and companionship without hesitation.
In a clinic where we see both the beauty and heartbreak of loving animals, Dewy became a reminder of why that love is worth it. He brought warmth into hard days, laughter into stressful ones, and light into moments that felt heavy.
Dewy was never just a clinic cat.
He was part of our family ,everyday lives, part of our hearts, and part of the soul of this place.
The halls will feel quieter without his footsteps, and the corners he claimed will feel emptier. But his presence, his chaos, and his love will stay with us.
Thank you, Dewy, for every laugh, every interruption, every comforting moment, and every bit of love you gave so freely.
You made this place better simply by being in it ,And you will be missed more than words can say. So go bother Stephanie and Soup for us all sweet boy we love you so much🐾🩵

The dream continues………

CRUCIAL MOVING NOTICE & CLOSURE DATES
The Move: The week of July 6th – 10th, 2026.
The Closure: Our office will be COMPLETELY CLOSED during this week so our staff can lift boxes, test out the new shiny fixtures, and argue about where the coffee maker goes.
The Grand (Partial) Reopening: We will officially reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 13th, 2026.

If your pet requires medication refills, special dietary food, or routine care before the big move, please reach out to us by July 1st so we can ensure you are fully stocked up before the moving trucks arrive. You may also call Carolinas Veterinary Specialist of Huntersville at (704) 464-2523.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sticking with us through the dust, the noise, and the perpetual state of “we’ll be in there soon!” We cannot wait to welcome you and your furry companions into a space that finally matches the premium care they deserve (and has significantly less drywall dust).

Sincerely,

The Doctors and Staff at
