We provide many services here at Concord Parkway Animal Hospital for our small furry friends including:

*Immunization and Wellness Care

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testi

ng; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

*Internal Medicine

We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.

*Emergency and Critical Care

In any emergency, seconds count. Dr. Roberts has spent 7 years as the Chief of Staff of a local emergency, critical care hospital. His experience and that of our experienced staff provides the best available care in an emergency situation. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center, when we are not open.

*Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Dr. Roberts believes that healthy teeth and gums are essential to the quality of the life of your pet.

*Surgery

We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: board certified surgeon available for consultation; fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

*Ultrasound

This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.

*Radiology

Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. We are equipped to provide and interpret your pet's radiographs while you wait.

*Fully Stocked Pharmacy

We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.

*Microchip

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.

*Nutritional Counseling

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.

*Pain Management

Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

*Behavioral Medicine

Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We are trained in helping pets and their owners, deal with problems such as separation anxiety, thunderstorm phobias and obsessive behavior. We can help educate owners and then develop a treatment regimen for your pet.

*Bathing

Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning.

Dear Clients and friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved team member, Stephanie Sells.

Stephanie was so much more than an assistant—she was a devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter, and dear friend. For 20 plus years, she served our community with compassion, skill, and love. Her presence touched every corner of our practice, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
In memory of Stephanie and to allow our team the opportunity to gather with her family and honor her life, we will be closed on Friday, August 1st, 2025.

We invite those who wish to join us in celebrating her life to attend the memorial gathering:

Hello everyone!
In observance of Independence Day, our office will be closed on Friday, July 4th.
If your pet will need medications, prescription refills, or updated vaccination records (especially for boarding or travel), please contact us no later than Thursday, July 3rd to ensure everything is ready in time.
We encourage all clients to plan ahead so we can continue to support your pets’ health and comfort during the holiday.

August 18 is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. Whether paw prints, scales, or hooves animals make an incredible difference in our lives. Today we remember and recognize all those who we have loved and lost. So give your fur babies a hug, and look over memories of companions lost but never forgotten❤️
